Overall - 5/5Story - 4.5/5A very well paced and attention grabbing story. Very interesting to watch, and has a very 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' vibe.Animation - 4.5/5Animation by MADHOUSE studio. Very fluid animation especially during action sequences. Mid-distance shots displaying crowds do show 3D animated models that are plain looking and probably the only example of anything in this show dropping in animation quality.Music - By Ken AraiWhile the music is very enjoyable and well placed, especially during crucial scenes, very few pieces of the actual score is very memorable.

A mature series with great sci-fi / horror elements that remind me of the thing. The characters are realistic and actually develop throughout the series. You should definitely check this series out and also watch the second half of this show. Which I also reviewed. It has a great conclusion to the series! Both collections are worth buying.

F***ing amazing best buy in years. Hearing this is so weird after watching in Japanese with subs now to hear it with english vocie actors. But omfg its epic I have both one and two and I f-ing love them!!!!!!!!!!
