I bought this lamp in case of threatened electricity shortages . There were cheaper lamps available but this seemed to be of better quality, more robust, and with the freedom of being chargeable in advance of being needed, rather than being dependent on batteries. It took less than 2 hrs to charge from new. It also acts as a storage bank in the event of needing to charge a mobile phone/iPad. It has a variety of different brightnesses plus an emergency flashing option. All provide a good level of brightness, the brightest being excellent - 1000 lumens I believe. I’m very pleased with the lamp to date, and would recommend it to others looking for a robust chargeable lamp for emergency use - I’d say it would also be good for use in a garage or shed etc.

A good, robust, standby for winter power cuts. Ideal for camping.

After a few recent power cuts I wanted something to offer a reasonable amount of light if needed, and so far I’m impressed with this. The brightness in a reasonably big room is very good, and offers versatility when and where I use it. Only time will tell if it holds the charge for hours on end, but I’m feeling positive about the lantern. Also its size and weight are a good balance, and not heavy at all.

So far so good. The lamps arrived partly charged and seemed nice and bright. We live in a remote area and bought them for emergency use, so we have charged them fully and put them in our emergency cupboard. Will need to remember to keep checking they are charged up!

Excellent, I could have done with this lamp when the electricity went off recently will be very useful if it goes off again.
