The sound was very limited. I bought one from an individual maker instead.

This is a fabulous instrument! Within a few hours, I was making beautiful music. It's a lot of money, but SO worth it! If you are wanting a hand pan, do not hesitate to purchase from Txevaot!

Bought this after years of wanting a Handpan, and I grew tired of waiting for auctions and lotteries to finally pick me. The build quality of the handpan is decent. But I'm not particularly sold on the scale. The center note is rather high, and not very bass-y. The higher notes also don't resonate very easily, so I did not find much use for them. There's also absolutely no harmonics when the pan is struck between notes; not sure if that's an issue of manufacturing or tuning, but it's not great for the sound quality. Overall, it's okay. Definitely not worth the $3000+ dollars. Maybe a different scale with a lower center bass note and better harmonics would push the price to that level for me; but this is a return for me. This isn't something that captivated me for days; I played it for about an hour and couldn't see myself spending an entire year paying off that huge price for something I wasn't super into. Sorry, Tzevaot, but it's not for me. -Tyler
