i also need to replace my red lever as it has broken, until i get the new one does anyone know how to attach it back just to keep it running ?

The same thing has happened to us, the red plastic lever should have been metal or stronger plastic. HORRIBLE DESIGN and TERRIBLE SERVICE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BUY THE ENTIRE VALVE WHEN ALL THAT BREAKS IS THAT RED PLASTIC LEVER.

Is the white lever supposed to move? Mine doesn't move.

The white lever must move it's what controls the flow if its flush against the red level you can't remove from filter this is a safety measure to make sure you don't disconnect the holes, its also how you control the flow from the tank to the filter to control your turn over of water in the tank.
