flexi LED Lighting System, Black

Brilliant attachment for the dog lead. Lights up well and let's you see where you're walking and more importantly to see what you're doing to pick up dog poo. Easy to recharge. I don't bother to take it off the lead to recharge it - can be done while still attached.

Last for a few days, depending on how long your nightly walks are, before needing to be recharged. Light is bright enough for me see to my dog who has a dark coat and for cyclists to avoid him at night.

I love these torch units - as they're on the leash unit, I never forget to take them with me ... unless I forget the dog, too. Easy to operate, though if the leash is in extending mode, the torch beam can sometimes blocked by the tape. Not the brightest torch around, but good enough -especially if only needed for emergency use. It is perfectly possible to fit these torch units to other makes of extending leash - they attach by sticky velcro pads, so provided the leash unit has a sufficiently large, flat, clean surface there is no problem, and I have fitted them to a few different makes. What a shame Flexi don't sell spare velcro circles, so that they can be replaced when the old one wears out - or to enable the torch to be moved between several leashes. I find these torches are fine with ordinary AAA batteries in them (they come supplied with a pair, so can be used straight out of the box), but every time I've tried using rechargeable batteries (as recommended by Flexi), the first heavy rain causes the batteries to leak and destroy the torch unit. The torches are rather overpriced, sadly - but nevertheless, I wouldn't be without one. I love Flexi's new dinky little cardboard box packaging. So much "greener" than the old-style, over-large, plastic-and-cardboard affair!

Huge help with night walkies. As my puppy got black coat I barely can see her what she is doing. this helps me to keep my eye on her. Good quality. battery holds few days ( obviously depends how long I`m using it ) It attaches to the leash Flexi Xtreme which I don`t have to worry that I will forget it.

As has been pointed out by other reviewers, the USB charging socket cover is fiddly to close, in the extreme, and should be redesigned. That said though, a little care and it will go back in. You just need to work out whether it does inside or outside the contact area! Apart from all that, it's a great little light, and for me a hell of a lot better than having to remove the battery cover on the old model, to fit yet another battery. That was getting ridiculous! This will fit on any make of extending lead as long as it has a flat side large enough. It doesn't have to be a Flexi.

An absolute godsend for when the dark evenings come in. While it's good to just simply seeing where you are going in the dark it really comes in clutch for picking up after your dog in the dark. No more balancing acts or holding a torch in your teeth! The velco attachment system is brilliant too, super convenient for taking off and charging and when it comes to the months where it's not needed they even provide a cap to stick over the velcro to keep it in top condition for when winter comes round again. Super fast to charge too with USB C connection.

I bought the lighting system to attach to a Flexi Giant neon 8 metre lead. I’ve tried and tested the light now and I’ve found that It’s not as bright as I thought it would be. I thought I wouldn’t need to carry my little torch with me anymore, but, unfortunately, I still take it with me when it becomes dark, which actually gives off better and brighter light than the LED system! So what’s the point of having it then? Well, I think it’s good if areas have some street lights, but in my situation, some of the areas I go to have limited lighting so it isn't as great having just that alone, unless I take my little torch with me and vice versa..Plus if it’s a decent lighted area, I don’t gave to carry an extra torch with me! Maybe two Led systems- 1 each side of the lead would work better?! Or 1 with a better brighter light!? Another point I want to make is that I had to go on to You tube to make sure I attached the LED system properly to the lead. The instructions weren’t that great for example- Hiw king to leave the attached Velcro before attaching the light or What side of the lead to fit it to?- I wasn’t sure and didn't know if that mattered..

The product is as expected, very handy and well made it helps a lot during the night walks with Pepper. However I had made a mistake when ordering, I should have purchased the black fixture

Ich benutze die Flexi-Leine seit vielen Jahren und sie war in dunklen Straßen immer ein Problem. Bisher waren alle meine Hunde schwarz, daher ist es im Dunkeln schwer zu erkennen, ob der Hund sein Geschäft erledigt hat oder nicht, und ich konnte nicht erkennen, ob er etwas vom Boden gefressen hat. Mit dem Flexi-Licht hat sich das geändert, ich kann den Hund endlich klar sehen und sehen, was er tut. Das Licht ist stark genug, um es zu beleuchten, und strahlt genau an das Ende der Linie – genau dort, wo Sie es brauchen. Zusätzlich habe ich ein weißes Flexi-Seil gekauft, das einen erstaunlichen reflektierenden Effekt ergibt. Das Flexi-Licht ist seit 3-4 Tagen eingeschaltet und wurde nur für Abendspaziergänge verwendet, also insgesamt etwa 3 Stunden. Es lässt sich sehr einfach und schnell aufladen – ca. 1-2 Stunden Ladezeit. Die Lampe ist leicht – sie erhöht nicht das Gewicht der gesamten Leine. Ich benutze diese Lampe seit 4 Monaten - sie ist zuverlässig. Seine Form ist stromlinienförmig, er bleibt an nichts hängen und ist fast nicht wahrnehmbar. Zusätzlich kann man das Licht abnehmen (es ist mit Klettverschluss befestigt), ich nehme es aber nicht von der Leine. Ich muss nicht mehr mit einer zusätzlichen Taschenlampe in der anderen Hand herumlaufen – ich bin froh, dass ich sie gekauft habe. Ich empfehle dieses Produkt allen Hundeliebhabern und anderen :-)

Past op elke riemhouder, witte lamp is niet heel fel in zwaarste stand maar genoeg om mee te lopen en gaat op een lading echt lang mee. We hebben inmiddels nog een exemplaar besteld.
