## Description

Ortho GroundClear Weed and Grass Killer Super Concentrate1 kills the toughest weeds and grasses to the root, providing broad-spectrum control of weeds and grasses for hardscape and landscape maintenance with ingredients that work on contact. Ortho GroundClear Weed & Grass Killer Super Concentrate1 is ideal to use for weed control around perennial landscape plants, shrubs, trees, in gravel or mulch beds, patios, and for clearing walkways and driveways. To use this grass and weed killer concentrate: 1) Unscrew cap from pouch and empty entire pouch into a reusable Ortho bottle or tank sprayer 2) Fill bottle or tank sprayer with 0.5 gallon of water 3) Securely screw cap onto bottle or sprayer 4) Shake gently 5) Spray as directed. One 0.5 gallon refill pouch covers 175 sq. ft. Spray only the weeds that need killed by thoroughly wetting the foliage to cover, but do not spray to runoff. Apply when weeds are actively growing and when the air temperature is above 60°F with calm air. See visible results within hours after application, with complete kill in 1-2 weeks. A single application controls most listed weeds and grasses.

Review: Very effective very fast, at least for the leafy green weeds growing along my fence - A little spray, and the weeds between my pavers and the fence gave up the ghost dramatically within a day or two. I hesitate to think what must be in this stuff, but it does work. And I LOVE that it comes in a concentrate that you can dilute with water. It never made any sense to me to buy a big jug of mostly water for any product. I still plan to refill the container with the second package of concentrate and take another run at the most stubborn weeds, which are basically small trees. Here’s hoping.

Photo is of some weeds about 6 hours after application. My only issue with this is the refill packet. It’s not easy to break the seal which can cause chemical to splash out once you do get it broken. Also, putting chemical into a container and then adding water can become problematic by aerosolizing the chemical up if the water has too much pressure behind it so be careful.

Where I live, we have stubborn weeds and we have tried multiple things to try to kill them but they won't die. My family has trusted Ortho for our weeds before so I decided to try this product out. This product is very convenient since it includes a concentrate and a reusable bottle. This product lasts me a lot longer so that's a good thing. After using it on some stubborn weeds, it was a slow process but the weeds did eventually die. The only downside to this is that I hate that you can't use it around pets since most of our weeds are in the front yard where our dogs play. Other than that, this is a very great product but a trusted brand!
