Sleeping Beauty [Blu-ray]

Brilliant film,I enjoy this a lot

I first saw this film at a special premiere in my local theatre. I remember it well because my mother had come dressed as a princess. Unfortunately, she was not allowed into the screening. The theatre manager advised Mother that her heels were so pointed that they would leave permanent indents in the theatre carpet. Mother spent the night in the car while the rest of our family enjoyed the film. Sleeping Beauty remains nameless, which is rather odd. Even when the woodsman wakes her from a deep sleep, he doesn't utter her name. The mystery of her name continues to this day. In my mind, I call her Brenda.

Sleeping Beauty [Blu-ray] disc was delivered without the special occasion cover. The story was not one of the best Disney classics such as Snow White, but was still good for young children to watch. A little scary at the end when the prince fights the witch who then transforms into a devil dragon.

A great quality Blu ray, wide screen, outstanding colours, 5.1 sound, just like watching a new movie, well done Disney. I watched 101 Dalmatians on Freesat HD TV over Xmas, and the quality was nothing compared with this. On the strength of this Disney Blu ray, we will be buying others to watch in the near future.

Really wanted this for my disney collection as it includes the classic number on the spine and also if you collect disney rewards codes, this contains a code. Came quite quickly as expected and glad I got it quickly as the price went up rapidly over a few days. Loved this as a kid and love it now. By the way if you collect enough disney reward codes you can get free dvds, not many people use them, so far I've gotten 6 free dvds saving me around £70, highly recommend getting started today!!!!!!!

One of the best Disney films there is with memorable characters, unforgettable music and great drama. If you haven't seen it yet you are in for a treat. If you have seen it but ages ago it's a good excuse to sit with a cuppa and go down memory lane with a timeless classic.

I ordered this as a gift and I guess it plays good. I have not heard any complaints about it.

L'ho regalato alla mia ragazza in quanto è stato uno dei primi cartoni Disney che ha visto da bambina ed è di sicuro fra i suoi preferiti. L'ho cercato ovunque e spesso mi è stato detto che la Disney non aveva ancora comunicato la data di uscita della versione BD in Italia, ed è un vero peccato soprattutto perchè è meraviglioso vedere quanto siano cambiati i disegni nel corso degli anni...e pensare che si tratta di un cartone del 1959 quando l'animazione grafica tramite computer era fantascienza. Come sempre GRAZIE AMAZON!!!

Pure nostalgia. Glad I have it in my collection.
