There were plenty of pins to cover the scarf included and I didn't need to order any extra. The mats are thick and durable and my project came out great because of this. The only thing is that the handles for the carry case come not assembled. You have to tie the knots and tie them in, but they do not exactly fit with how the pieces of the boards fit in the bag.
