if you love singing karaoke this can bring lots of good time into your home, and will make a great gift for any aspiring singer. you plug in your ipad or laptop with a simple headphone jack and youtube lets you sing any karaoke song you can think of. it is truly a marvelous addition to any entertainment setup, great for parties, or just hanging out at home alone. but yes it is quite expensive. but in my opinion it is worth the money because it will bring limitless enjoyment to your home, and it will help any aspiring singer to practice with musical accompaniment to any song. so glad i purchased this for my 9 year old niece.

Biggest disappointment ever. Didn’t mind paying a high price for it, cause I though it woud be worth it!! Notttt!!! Horrible feed back noise, couldnt plug the iphone or ipad, or even a laptop close to it cause of the horrible noise it would make!! My famlly tried everything to make it work and nothing worked to eliminate the feed back noise. I even purchased an extra microphone and couldnt use it with the system, had to return it and lost $5.00 on it. I dont think i have ever been so disappointed with a product. Waited over a year for it to go on the market, and it was a waste of time. I will be looking around for another karaoke system and hope I have a better experience. Thank God for Amazon and letting me ship it back without a hassle. I love Amazon and their customer service. I am never didappointed with then. Dont waste your money on this product, i wasnt the only one that hated it, my whole family was disappointed and hated it. Worst quality!!

Although the machine does have a connector for two microphones whenever you plug in a second mic the volume for the second mic is so low that is not usable. The singtrix documentation claims: "the Singtrix Mic is very dynamic with high sensitivity so that singing is effortless. Other mice may not be as sensitive as our mic." So I thought "I didn't get the right second microphone." I took the whole system to my local music store where we tried several microphones. None work well as second microphone. Singrtrix faqs say you could spend another hundred dollars or so in a pre-amp for the microphone and have a separate volume, outside of the system, for the other mic. So much for plug and play and ease. We'll ok, I'll buy another singtrix microphone right, they are listed for only $50... Except those are sold out everywhere including singtrix.com, amazon, target, guitar center, and all other singtrix-listed suppliers. I've sent an email to singtrix support (they don't have a phone number) but unless I get a reasonable answer the whole system is going back. [Updated 06/2020] Finally the singtrix microphone is back in stock. Ditched the second non-singtrix mic I had to settle for while they were out of stock.. an now have two mics working. Only one can control the "effects" and the mic stand didn't stand the test of time.. had to replace both mic holders and the boom arm fell apart... but the system is still quite usable and now sounds great with the two mics.

Excellent product: works really well and makes just about anyone sound great. We just use youtube videos of karaoke versions of popular songs (all of these are free, and there are 1000s). Plug everything in and sing along! I wish the secondary microphone had a separate volume control (it's a little less loud than the main mic by default). I really like not having to fiddle with separate CDs of just a few songs. Instead, we use online music for free.

I have used this karaoke machine less than 5 times because instead of enjoying, I'm stressed with the microphone that does not work properly. It would work, but would stop working...and this is constantly occurring. I wish I returned this product when I still could. The sound is okay, but the microphone is really very low quality. It has been sitting in my office for quite a while, and decided to give it a try again, but I was just disappointed... again, hence this review.

We received this with no power cord, contacted customer service they initially replied quickly and said they would send one if I send an invoice proving purchase, so I did. Sarah at Singtrix immediately put in an order for me. I went ahead and ordered a power cord off Amazon. Power cord arrived and tonight I plugged everything up per the directions and nothing coming from the microphone. Speaker makes a hum when you are initially plugging it in which is normal, so I know the speaker works. The actual Singtrix box turns on, so it works. The HIT button on the mic works when you press it but absolutely NO sound when you speak into the mic, and all volumes are per recommendation. Sent an email tonight about the issue to customer service at Singtrix. I'll update my review once I see what happens, as I'm a fan on Singtrix, think it's very cool and would love to rate this 5 stars! UPDATE: Wow! I have to say that at first I was frustrated but hopeful when I wrote the first review and my initial rating was 2 stars. Because of the customer service (Sarah) at Singtrix my rating is 5 stars. When I emailed customer service she quickly responded and immediately started working with me to make it right so my daughter could have her present by Christmas and be in working order. I was very impressed that she took the time to call me personally, go through the process of elimination on the system, determined it must be a faulty system and I just received my new system in the mail. I plugged in it and it's great! I do not know if they have anyone else working in customer service, but I could tell that Sarah was extremely busy and was grateful, appreciative and impressed that she took her time to call me. It made me feel that she really cared and that I wasn't just another "order." I could tell that she was proud of the product (Singtrix) and she wanted my family to be proud of it too. Sarah was on top of things, responded quickly, was extremely helpful and she has made my daughters Christmas, I couldn't be happier.

I purchased the Singtrix Family Bundle. After two days of light use the effects dial on the console became unresponsive. The console was stuck on the setting of "Favorites - 1" and turning the effects dial would not change the setting. I was not able to access any of the other effects. I have no idea how the console became stuck on Favorite - 1; my wife and I did not set any favorites. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy (the item was sold by Green Boat and shipped by Amazon) because Singtrix would not take any responsibility for the defective product and would not send me a replacement console. The reason Singtrix gave was that the seller was not covered under warranty as an authorized reseller. Nevertheless, I believe Singtrix should have sent a replacement console as the negative reputation/goodwill caused by a defective product sticks with the manufacturer of the product. I will not be purchasing another Singtrix Karaoke system and I would not recommend one. Who knows how many other defective units Singtrix has out there and will not remedy.

Could have had some customization capabilities. Not much to choose from. It’s an ok bundle for people who like their karaoke system simple
