Fortunately, it was a degourdi firing and not a glaze firing, otherwise I would not only have lost 1/5 of my production, but also a good part of my equipment! You receive one set of 2 rods and 4 toothed cross bars. You do not receive high-fire wires or stilts as shown in the examples. The rods unscrew so that you can remove some of the toothed cross bars, if necessary. I use it to hang ornaments and other small hanging items using high fire wire to fashion hanging hooks and then elevate with stilts. Hope that helps **Q: I fire to Cone 5-6 and the temperature range for that is higher than the one listed in the description. What would happen if I fired higher?** A: I am looking at this and thinking about buying it too. It appears they are saying it fires to 1350 degrees Celsius. That is higher than Cone 10. **Q: How many is in the package? Are the rods with it?** A: It comes with 2 rods and 4 long hangers.The hangers have segmented "teeth" for hanging your wares. It can be arranged in different configurations or separated. I found it useful for firing small objects such as ornaments or jewelry that needs to be glazed on all sides.
