Does it have a loud ring tone?

I am completely deaf in my left ear & it is loud enough for me. Also the screen flashes white light which draws the attention to the phone when it rings. I hope this is helpful for you.

If I have caller display, can I still use these handsets to text as I can with my current home phone?

Hi. Can the hands free facility be used with either phone, or just the bas unit. Also, is there any echo when speaking.

Hands free is available on both phones, they are identical and can be placed for charging in either bases. Ive never had echoing on hands free. You cant have them in bases/charging and at the same time answer hands free, they have to be out on the table. My second desk has a shelf, if Im using hands free I place it on the shelf above my head about 18 inches away works fine and clear.

Is the telephone cable from the main handset/base station removable or is it permanently attached? Thank you in advance.
