HP USB-C Docking Station G2, Black, USB Interface, Compatible with Desktops

Why is Amazon asking me to rate "sheerness", "thickness" and "warmth"? It's not a pair of tights. As far as the hub goes, the main irritation is it drops Ethernet every day and my laptop reverts to WiFi. Perhaps this is a firmware problem but the only way to reset the device to reconnect to Ethernet is to turn it off and on.

I bought this for a HP X2 Elite - which comes with one USB and one USB-C. The power pack that came with the laptop charges through the USB-C so does not work with the docking station. Hence I had to buy a power pack with a 4.5mm * 3.0mm (light blue) connector. Docking station is really good , once I worked out which power pack to buy.

It would be faster and cheaper to render your monitor near useless to hit you screen with a large heavy object. Not sure who's idea it was to run displays via usb but they should be sacked and never allowed to have another job anywhere.

Le daría 5 estrellas porque el aparato es perfecto para conectar y cargar mi Lenovo T480s. Es pequeño, suficientes puertos y fabricado con materiales de buena calidad. Le doy 3 estrellas porque Amazon indicaba que como producto de segunda mano tenía algún desperfecto y lo que faltaba era el cargador; tuve que comprar uno aparte para hacerlo funcionar 😕.

Produit HP 100% Genuine, mais un tiers meilleur marché que chez les revendeurs habituels, ce qui constitue une belle différence, le produit est identique c'est donc le VRAI, et c'est un excellent produit puisqu'il permet notamment de connecter 2 écrans sur votre portable HP, en plus de la connectique embarquée (USB2 et 3, son, RJ45...). Veuillez noter qu'il y a un drivers/soft résident sur la mémoire flash du produit, cela fonctionne sans, mais je vous conseille de l'installer pour bien tirer parti du produit et notamment de la gestion des 2 écrans.

Il prodotto è ottimo, la spedizione è arrivata secondo i tempi indicati. Prodotto consigliato.

Einfache Handhabung, einfache Installation, ich bin sehr zufrieden

Installato e configurato senza senza problemi. Fa il suo, funziona tutto tranne che non carica il pc [vedi EDIT sotto]. La stella in meno non è per quello ma per lo slot per il cavo di sicurezza, che purtoppo non è compatibile con i cavi kensington standard, e non si capisce bene che cavolo di cavo serve. Bella zozzata non scriverlo nelle specifiche. Edit. modifico la recensione e tolgo un'altra stella. Il pc si carica attaccato ad un'altra docking station, il problema è proprio questa docking HP che non manda corrente. L'ho presa usata, quindi potrebbe essere un problema legato solo a questa unità, ma sfrugulando tra i forum sul supporto HP vedo che è un problema diffuso. edit 2 dopo lungo colloquio con supporto HP, mi è stato detto a mezza bocca che è praticamente progettato per non funzionare su alcune linee di prodotti e funzionare solo con altre. Ragioni commerciali. Nonostante ciò, a parte l'alimentazione, funziona tutto molto bene. Se l'alimentazione è indispensabile bisogna controllare le tabelle di "compatibilità", meglio contattando il supporto HP direttamente, oppure si può andare su altre marche (il mio ProBook viene correttamente alimentato del Dell Dock wd15 ad esempio).
