I haven't tried removing any yet, so this review is only about how they work going onto the wall. I have bought a lot of these strips recently as I moved into a rental property and didn't want to put screws or nails into the walls. They have been absolutely brilliant! I've put up all sorts of different sizes of photo frames and even a key-holder box and hooks for curtain tie-backs. All are holding up well and I am really impressed with how well the strips grip onto the hooks and the picture frames. Sadly, I managed to put a couple up a bit wonky but I'm living with it until I can get another pack of the large strips. These wire-backed picture hangers are great as well and I've got them holding up a light canvas picture and a heavy-framed watercolour. I'm wanting to put up a cork notice-board and as they usually have string on the back, I'll probably use these particular strips to do it. The packaging gives the weight that each hook will hold, so something heavier may need two hooks, or something else from the range, but it's easy enough to weigh pictures before you hang them if you have some kitchen scales. I have been recommending these to all my family, even if they don't rent, as they're so easy to use and there's no faff with drilling & putting in screws or hammering in nails. My only advice would be to make sure the pictures are level before you remove the backing tape!

For hanging pictures or clocks these are the best option. They're versatile and can be used to hang both wired or sawtooth frames as they can be reversed. They're also more secure than the plastic type and won't fall down like the velcro strips. ( Which I found out after some very costly mistakes with items falling off the wall). They're also better than drilling a hole as there's no repair if you want to move the item, as you just use another strip and rehang.

Great hook that’s ideal without damaging the wall. I used this to hang a large clock and it’s worked great. You cannot see the hook which is a bonus. Very sturdy and strong. The only issue is that the nail part is quite short so it doesn’t give a lot of leeway.

Having just had my hall walls replastered I was not keen on having to use traditional picture hooks in the plaster. These Command hooks have proved to be just what I needed. They attach to the painted wall and can be removed without leaving any evidence they were ever there. They come in all sorts of styles and sizes and can hold hefty weights if properly applied. This particular model takes pictures with sawtooth, hook or wire fittings and also would take a clock which has that shaped hole for a screw. Would thoroughly recommend these picture hooks.

This product was very easy to install. I was able to hang a clock with it after just an hour. We will see how it holds up.

Hung up a large canvas picture on a wooden frame using this hook - it's been up for over a year and a half and no problems at all. It was surprisingly easy to install and I'm really impressed. I honestly thought the canvas' weight with the wooden frame was going to be a problem, but this solved everything, Highly recommend.

Used various forms of Command fixings and bought these to attach two light display cases to the wall (approx 1.9kg). Prepared the wall by rubbing with alcohol then attached the strips to the metal hanger. However on removing the wall side protective covering it was noted that the strips did not seem very sticky - without touching all over the surface which is a no no. Attached to the wall as instructed and actually left for about 3 hours before hanging the cases. Several hours later we heard a loud crash and one case, complete with the metal hanger plus adhesive strips, had fallen off the wall. One of the corner joints of the case had opened up and needs attention but miraculously the glass did not break! Have replaced the hanger back on the wall with two new strips and will leave overnight. Tomorrow I will repair the case and rehang but with the addition of some “standard” Command strips on the sides - the proverbial belt and braces. Bottom line is we are not happy and this is not 3M’s usual standard. It begs the question does the adhesive deteriorate over time and is this old stock or a faulty batch?

We live in rental property and we don't want to start making holes on the wall for later to paint everything and over spend for such a quick fix... this is the perfect tool to have when you want to make you life easier and prettier! It is really easy to follow the instructions and if you want to take it out... guess what.... no marks on the wall or left overs! This in particular are goof for bigger pictures frames since they more heavy.

Lo que buscaba era no tener que hacer más agujeros en las paredes y cumple perfectamente. aguanta muy bien el peso de cuadros convencionales. Eso sí un poco caros, pero no los he encontrado más baratos en las tiendas locales

I am surprised I have not reviewed this yet. I have a ton of these in our home. It started with us using them in our RV. One cannot, or should not drive nails into an RV and these nails are perfect for hanging clocks, pictures, etc. This particular sticky nail was used to hang a medium sized mirror (see attached photo) in entryway so one could do one last spot check before they left the house to go somewhere. This was very easy to hang with this large 3M Command sticky nail. We live in a modular home now and I do not feel like having holes in wall at this time. The 3M sticky nail is able to hold the weight of the mirror. I used these all over our home for paintings, and much, much more. They stick well and I have not had one fall down yet. The small nails work well for clocks and such, as mentioned, and the larger ones work well for a weighty item such as a mirror.

è consigliabile usarlo solo per quadri ad un ugello ma sé si pulisce la superficie si attacca l'adesivo e su di esso il gancio, assicurandosi che l'adesivo era ben conservato, si possono appendere anche quadri molto grandi, vanno staccati molto lentamente ed esercitando una forza costante, dato che l'ultima volta sé né venuto anche un po' di muro.
