Does it have an area of padding within?** A: It's like a very sticky tape, certainly wouldn't recommend it directly applied to a wound or cut, definitely not, as there is not padding (it is tape) I would suggest you use non-adhesive wound dressing pads underneath and secure it with the mefix tape, hope this helps **Q: Is this tape transparent?** A: Mefix is white adhesive fabric. Easy to cut for awkward dressings. Hypoallergenic. I use it to secure dressings.
