The Energizer WeatherReady BATCH 2 Emergency LED AA Light All-In-One Flashlight and Lantern is a must have item for your household emergency kit and tool box. The dual 2 modes is a game changer for a flashlight. It serves as a 2 in 1, so you’re able to have your standard flashlight PLUS a lantern light without having to carry around a separate bulky lantern. The design is excellent, it’s light and combat while still durable. I love that I don’t need to carry around a flashlight and a lantern because the lantern mode on this is very bright and works great. I was pleasantly surprised by how light weight it is and that it’s weather resistant. I’ve used this numerous times as we are moving our fall decor into our attic and taking out our Christmas decor. I love the convenience of being able to easily carry this around, especially when doing heavy lifting. Only con is the flashlight mode is not as bright as some of the heavy flashlights I’ve tried, but it still does the job. The battery life lasts a long time too which is great. I originally received this product for testing purposes, but I really love it and plan to purchase another to keep for around the house!

I bought this flashlight primarily for walking the dog on a nearby bike trail. The flashlight is not super bright, the beam only provides good illumination about 20 feet up the trail but that's more than sufficient for my use. If the batteries last anywhere near the 60 hour rated capacity, it'll last me all season on a set of batteries (I think it makes a good tradeoff between brightness and battery life). A small area-light (dimmer than the main area light) comes on with the flashlight beam to light the area below the flashlight, it works reasonably well at illuminating the area near your feet when you're aiming the flashlight up the trail, but the really nice feature for me is that if I aim the flashlight down at the ground, then this area light is clearly visible from the rear, so any approaching bikes behind me will see it. The light seems relatively rugged, I've dropped it from waist height a few times while fumbling with the dog leash and the light hasn't suffered any ill effect. This would also make a good power-failure light, the area light gives decent illumination of my large livingroom room, it lights up the entire room more than enough for comfortable walking around, and when sitting on the table, gives enough light for easy reading nearby. The area light is rated for 120 hours of runtime on a set of batteries.

At first glance this is a great 2 in 1 flashlight. Being from Energizer makes it more notable. When I first used it I liked the light out put on it. In a dark situation this would be perfect to see with. I like the lantern feature, it gives off more light than the flashlight. My only critique is that when it is in flasklight mode, there is still a loght on the lantern part. It would have been nice to have one or the other and then a third option for both. Have ordered several of these flashlights for myself and for family. Super helpful that you can have the flash ahead while it also illuminates the ground in front of you for safe walking.

I love my flaslight. Its design is well thought out, and it features a flashing red light that would be very useful in an emergency. It’s powerful enough for use at home or perhaps in the woods.

I love this flashlight! Good weight and size. I like the down light for walking my dogs. There is a place to add a strap but it would be better if it came with one. Magnet is so strong, I stick it to my fridge. Comes with batteries! Not the huge heavy batteries. Overall bright and great! Purchased one for my mom as well.

I've heard that giving three stars is just as bad as a one star review, so... Not a bad little light, and the reason I purchased was because of the two way light. In the past I've seen on scifi shows where "flashlights" point both forward and down. I like that you can see the area where you are about to step. Not super bright on the two light setting, but pretty "bright" on the lamp (?) setting. I thought it only took two not four batteries, my bad. I don't know about water resistance or battery life, still it worked as soon as I put the batteries in. Pros: Comes with energizer batteries not some cheap no name battery. Light points in two direction. Cons: It is all plastic and if feels kind of cheaply made (low cost). Well the clear plastic on the end does. The handle seems pretty solid. I think if you drop it a time or three part of the light cap (?) will quickly break. However that could be said of a lot of flashlights... There is no just forward flashlight only option. I would have liked that. Would I buy it again myself or as a gift, probably not, but nor am I going to return it either.

I wanted a flashlight for the car and this one fits the bill perfectly. It has multiple modes, so it can be used as a flashlight, a mini lantern if you have to change a tire or add air, and a flashing red strobe in case you ever break down at the side of the road at night. A must have in my opinion. It even has a flat magnetic base so it stands on its own or can stick to the top or side of the car if needed. Would also be great at home during a power outage when used handsfree in lantern mode in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Protip: If kept in the car, use lithium batteries (rechargable) so they will last longer when unused and withstand broad temperature changes better.

Have a strong magnetic strength that can be attached to the car's hood if you want to check something in the engine.

Received this flashlight for my daughter’s use when we go camping. Received quickly we loaded the batteries (they thankfully come with them) and it works really well we tested it out in our backyard amongst the trees and path. Works great. Nice and bright. Good value at the price also
