A nice airbrush kit...
The Airbrush kit arrived undamaged and on time. I currently have the older model, and this is the newer updated version ( see photos). UNBOXING: -The kit came packed in a sturdy black box with Casubaris printing on the lid.(see photo) Airbrush kit was neatly packed and section inside the box. (see photo) - Contained in the box were... the air compressor, airbrush gun (0.3mm needle), two rechargeable batteries, a usb-type-C charging cable, standard air hose, cleaning brushes, nozzle removal tool, small pipette, users guide and a dear customer tip card.(see photo) - The user guide and tip card were informative. There were some minor English grammar errors, but the instructions were still very easy to understand. -At first glance TM-90 airbrush(red) is taller than the older model.(see photo) -The older model weight was 180.7g and the TM-90 was 235.7g with battery and 172.5g without. - The weight of the units with the airbrushes attached were... the older model weight was 286.3g and the TM-90 was 352.0g (see photo with brushes attached) The airbrush has a good weight and solid feel. Set-up: 1. I 1st disassembled the TM-90 airbrush and checked the needle. (sometimes these needles may have imperfections, or grease or other matter on the needle.) 2. I wiped the needle then performed a quick run through the ultrasonic cleaner. ( just my personal preference). After cleaning I ran my finger across the needle it was nice and smooth. 3. I Lubricated and reassembled the airbrush. 4. The batteries came with a 50% charge. The battery percentage illuminates on the side of the battery. NOTE: I cannot accurately state the battery life as all my test were done intermittently and I am currently still using the first battery and it shows 50% charge status. 5. Overall set-up was as easy as attaching the airbrush or airbrush and hose to the compressor, was very easy. TESTING THE UNIT 1. I attached the airbrush directly to the compressor then added a pipette full of water to the airbrush cup. Press the button on the compressor to turn the unit on then pressed the trigger on the airbrush. I prefer the ON/OFF feature of the older model where you just attach the airbrush to the compressor and the unit is ready to be used by pressing the airbrush trigger. 2. The water sprayed uniformly with no drips or splatter and good airbrush atomization. 3. I then attached the hose to the airbrush and the compressor and ran the same water test again. Unit still had good airbrush atomization, and only the slightest drop in pressure. 4. I do like the hose feature as using these kinds of compressors with the airbrush directly attached, does become heavy and awkward after a longer painting session. 5. There was no overheating during my painting sessions. The unit does/did get a little warm during use as normal. 6. With that test done it was time to try some paint. The key is to be sure you have thinned your paint properly. I only use acrylic paint for my models, which are thinned with water or alcohol. If you are not sure of the ratios for thinning paint there is a section on thinning paint included in the user guide. 6. The paint flowed smoothly while using the TM-90, I have no real complaints.(this test was done with and without the hose attached) 7. I tried several paints and the paint flowed consistently each time. The last test I used three different colors on one small kit, and the results were great for my needs.(see photo) 8. The unit worked fine with no "major" issues, I think it will do well for my needs and clean up was quick and easy...well as quick as quick can be for an airbrush. Minor issues and suggestions for future airbrush kits. 1. The unit was a bit louder than the older model; I personally would prefer if it were little quieter by 1-2 decibels 2. The batteries had trouble clicking into place sometimes(could just be the unit I received) 3. I prefer NOT needing to turn the unit on and off and prefer the older model which only turned on when you pressed the trigger on the airbrush. 4. No belt clip or harness to place the compressor when using the hose. I believe some kind of belt clip or harness would make things more convenient. Possible features/updates for future models 1. A belt/waist clip or harness add-on option to hold the compressor when using the air hose. I have seen other company models that do include this feature. 2. Would like to see an upgraded unit that has more pressure and a way to raise or lower the pressure depending on ones needs and/or whether the hose is being used or not. 3. A similar feature to the older model where the unit doesn't need a button and only turns on when the airbrush trigger is pressed. 4. Some kind of battery clip-tray or door to insure battery is inserted correctly and stays in place. Overall this is a nice airbrush kit and definitely a 5 star quality product I would definitely use. I am excited to get much use from this airbrush kit. The noted minor issues would not stop me from using, recommending and enjoying this airbrush kit. Will update if there are any issues or other problems with this kit.

Casubaris works great for a lot of fields of applications - Airbrush for on the go makes fun
The cordless airbrush kits are the trend products in the field of airbrushing in recent years. I ordered the latest system with interchangeable battery system directly and took a look. The set comes with a 0.3 mm double action airbrush, the compressor, two rechargeable batteries, lid, hose system, cleaning brushes, nozzle exchange tool, paint pipette and quick start guide in English. Any airbrush equipment that has a 1/8-inch connection can be connected to the compressor. So with the help of adapters from the specialized trade, you can also connect your favorite device if necessary. One can screw the airbrush device directly onto the compressor or for more convenience, one can also use the enclosed textile hose. This allows you to put the compressor in your pocket and blithely airbrush regardless of location. The compressor has an on/off switch and an "Auto Stop" function. So if the lever is not pressed, the compressor stops - saving battery power in the work process. The compressor manages an air output of 7-10 l/min - so that's not quite as much as you'd expect from a conventional airbrush compressor. The charging time of the rechargeable battery is 1.5 hours and allows about 50 minutes of continuous work. Conveniently, another battery is included, so you can swap out the battery if necessary when you're in the flow. Replacing it is easy. To remove, simply press lightly on the battery with your finger and it will release. With the included USB to USB-C cable, you can charge the battery with any USB outlet adapter, which is not included. The battery has a 25-100% charge indicator, so you can get a rough idea of how long you have left to spray and when you need to charge. The device does not have a step switch for the working pressure. As a rule, you want to get as much pressure out of the device as possible. The manufacturer warns that you should not spray during the charging process of the battery. The manufacturer also warns against use at high temperatures or in wet places. As usual in the price range, the included 0.3 mm double action airbrush has a screw-in nozzle, a classic needle protection cap, an included lid for the paint cup, and a simple needle limiter on the handle. The unit is very well made, and all components are easy to screw on and off. I am impressed of that. The sprayline is superbly fine considering the air liter output. In order for the spray pattern and performance to be good, the paint used should be set as thin as possible. Viscous paints don't stand a chance at the pressure available. However, if the ink/paint is thinned somewhat with reducer or water, the unit performs very well. Due to the lower pressure compared to a conventional compressor, even surprisingly fine details can be sprayed on. The spray image is slightly more pixelated, but this is not noticeable in many applications and motifs. We carried out various applications in our editorial test. One was spraying a small illustration on synthetic paper. The slightly more pixelated spray image is noticeable here with larger color gradients. Paint spitting for texture went quite well with the squezze technique, even with the textile hose. Small color gradients and details were then again very good. Painting a 3D printed mini skull also worked great. The use for correcting pictures hanging on the wall - e.g. at an exhibition - is very convenient, because there are no possibilities to work with conventional devices there. In general, the independence of location, e.g. on vacation, outdoors (at a street fair or exhibition), and the economical use of space, which give this system a purpose, should be emphasized. Thus, the Casubaris kit can be used for a wide variety of applications - from makeup, cake and sugar art design, from small illustrations and models to retouching work outdoors. The Casubaris makes fun and I think it's great that you can work anywhere without a power source.

Handy Portable Compressor, OK airbrush starter set
I absolutely love this compressor. It's fairly quiet, only refills as needed instead of being constantly on. The hose is long enough to leave the compressor on the floor and still have working space on the table, muting the sound even more. It is a great tool for on the go airbrush work. You can easily adapt it with some quick change adapters and swap brushes out as needed, however the brush included is a decent starter. I would not choose this as an endurance compressor, it's good for short bursts of work. I take this with me to hobby with my friends at my local F.L.G. almost every weekend.

Works for beginners
So I saw this kit while I was searching for airbrushes and decided to give it a try specifically because it had decent reviews and also came with the two batteries. I have never done airbrushing before up until a few weeks ago and I'm not artistic at all so I didn't think I'd be good at it. Well I am still not good at it but I do like doing it. I'm sure with more practice I will get better. I did not want to spend a lot on a big compressor and all kinds of add-ons and tools until I knew I wanted to keep at it. This little airbrush is great. I love that it's portable and doesn't take up room and the battery does last about the same amount of time it takes one to charge so it's easy to switch out as long as you put it on the charger as soon as it dies. To be honest I have ended up dropping this thing on the ground multiple times because without the hose it is very top heavy and falls over if I set it down That being said it is still working! When I first write it out I had a lot of problems with inconsistent spray, clogging and paint splatter. I'm sure most of this is user error since I am just learning but I still have issues with this brush. I did end up buying a second brush by Master because the top trigger was hurting my finger so I decided to get one with the bottom trigger which I do like better. That brush does perform better than the one that comes with this kit but to be honest not by much. For the price I would definitely recommend this little portable airbrush especially if you're just beginning and don't want to spend a lot of money or have a bunch of add-ons and stuff. That being said I am still not very impressed with the brush. I recently bought another brush (actually two of them because I liked them so much) by a different company and it's performance is like night and day over the one that comes with kit.

Worked great at first then the pressure switch failed leading to a dead compressor.
I live in a apartment and work nights. So being able to have a low noise compressor was a must. I have a similar battery powered compressor it works great but the battery didn't last very long. So with two batteries so I could keep spraying seemed like a perfect solution. This one is even quieter than my previous one and came with a really well made airbrush. It has a much higher rpm than a regular diaphragm compressor. So there were little issues with pulsing air. The fittings had no leaks so it turned itself on and of perfectly. Although it does heat up a lot if you try to use it continuously. It worked great for a week or two wIth very minimal use as I did not have much time to paint. Then after a while the pressure switch in it must have died. It still had power since the battery indicator was still light up saying it had a full charge. It just decided it had no reason to keep the compressor running. If I left it alone it would randomly turn back on for a second and then die again. Sometimes it will kick back in and work fine but not more than a few minutes before dying again. It just never runs long enough to drain the battery. So having two is a bit redundant. Got this for the compressor the airbrush was a bonus. But when it only works 20% of the time and stops working in the middle of spraying it is pretty useless. Maybe you will have better luck than me and get one that lasts. For me I am back to using my old battery powered compressor that may not last as long as I like but at least works when I want it to.

Company stands by their product
The airbrush was fine. I would not call it beginner friendly because the instructions for cleaning were not clear. I broke one piece and another little itty bitty piece fell down the drain. My fault which I chalk up to this being my first airbrush brush and lack of clear detailed instructions and pictures. I like the portability of the battery and have been using it with the second air brush I bought. The hose connection to the battery overheated and so I ended up connecting the brush directly to the battery. Update: The company refunded my purchase. I am impressed with their willingness to work with me.

Air valve provides instant pressure
This is a surprisingly decent system. My main concern was whether or not the compressor would work instantly upon pressing the airbrush trigger, however when you release the trigger, the compressor runs just long enough to pre-pressurize the airbrush for the next trigger press, which then provides an instant air supply. The air valve senses when the trigger is off and causes the compressor to stop, saving battery power. It then starts immediately once you press the trigger again. The system can be used with or without the included braided hose, allowing one to place the compressor in your pocket or nearby table. The .3mm needle & nozzle set provided the highlights in the images shown above. The nozzle requires use of the included wrench in order to be removed & cleaned, however backflushing will clean small clogs with no problem. Two included lithium-ion batteries are 1600mah each and a charge lasts for about 30 minutes of continuous use. The extra battery is handy to use while the other is being recharged, allowing a continuous workflow. An airbrushing beginner would find this system easy to use & to learn the skill with. An experienced airbrush artist would find the .30mm needle useful for fine detail, as the airbrush itself seems to be of surprisingly good quality and reliable with little clogging. The pics shown were done with Createx paint, so a little thinner (about 10-15%) may be necessary. Backflushing & cleaning is as easy as any other airbrush, save for having to use the wrench - but that's easily overlooked, given the performance. Hence the -1 star for cleaning. It would be unfair to call this system 'cheap Chinese junk', as it has proven itself to be just as useful & reliable as my higher & midrange guns, e.g. Badger, Gaahleri, etc. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and this airbrush will occupy a slot next to my other airbrushes and will likely be used on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to decorating my neighbor's interior wall using the portable compressor, as I've been asked many times to do just that.

Awesome Product, Great Product Support
Originally I had given this a lower rating because I was experiencing a couple issues with the compressor, but shortly after I posted that review, the seller actually reached out to me and offered me a replacement that arrived not even 2 days later. After using the new one for about a week now, I can honestly say I am beyond impressed with the quality of the airbrush. For $80 you get a really well built air brush, and convenient solution to a compressor. Rather than have to plug in to the wall and have a hose dragging on the floor, this kit allows you to use the compressor directly on the brush or in your pocket with a short hose leading up to your hand. This makes it super convenient if you do not have a dedicated work area for your painting. Additionally, the swappable batteries are perfect, if you run out of power, you can simply plug in the spare and continue to spray. Each battery gives you approximately one hour of spray time, and takes about an hour and a half to charge via the included USB C cable. The pressure on this system is perfect for my use, it sits at about 20psi which works fine for everything I have put through it (Vallejo, Tamiya, Mr.Color, Citadel) however, if you try to spray any primer, you will get a rougher coat because the pressure simply is not high enough to put down an even coat. The clean up is also very easy, you can take apart the airbrush pretty smoothly since all of the parts are machined really well and easily screw into each other. I was able to get everything clean and stored away in a few minutes which was pretty surprising. I can honestly say I would buy this product again if I had to and feel comfortable doing so because of the support I have received during all of this. If you are looking for a good entry point into airbrushing, this combo kit is definitely worth the try if you don't to spend $200 on an "entry level kit"

Excellent
This is an excellent airbrush for the beginner and being portable makes it very versatile. It has two batteries which helps greatly. Mine is nearly two years old and has provided a great service. I use mine for model kits, it’s so handy as I don’t have space for a large compressor so the compact design is very convenient.
