AC Infinity Water Pump, 792 GPH

A great little pump. I could have gone with the next size up but this pump meets my needs. I use this to pump water from a 17g water reservoir from my hydroponic system. Its small enough to fit in shallow water but still functional. The flow rate is pretty decent with good power behind it. There is a grate at the intake that could probably afford to have a better screen to prevent clogs, however, this isnt an issue for me. The grate can be turned to increase or decrease the pressure of the flow but can probably help reduce clogs as well. The most I'd get that may get caught in there are some tiny root bits that may come off the plant during the process. Definitely manageable. I have not used this product frequently enough to remark on its durability but I have not run into any issues.

For the price and quality this thing is a beast. I love AC infinity products and this pump did not disappoint. Top quality, clean and powerful.

Flow control didn’t work at all no matter how much turning the valve. Also the water flow didn’t seem to be up to the 750+ gph as advertised

I have had this over a year now and use it in an outside water fountain that I am not always good at maintaining. I go months without cleaning the base and am known to allow it to run dry now and then. None of it bothers this pump. I've paid much more for them. None as good as this one. Every time I think I've fried it, it proves me wrong. I unplug it for a quick sec and it kicks back in as good as ever. If clogged, I add a few drops of algae killer and it cleans itself.
