Restored touch functionality. Notes: watch the YouTube video that mentions ghost touching. His method is easier than the other top video since you just remove four screws instead of removing the whole radio. Also, remove as much of the old glue/tape as you can. If you're lazy like me, the glass will stick out and fall out and you'll have to do the install again. Also, despite warnings, I lost my 10 mm bolt inside the car, never to be seen again. Be VERY careful with it. You'll need an extension wrench to do it.
