It was a very cold and slightly snowy day but this mat was great and it actually heats your bum up which is fabulous. It also is waterproof and doesnt take up loads of space in the backpack due to its light weight and folding construction. Definitely recommend it and its coming with me on all my treks now!! :) Review: Not as large as I'd imagined, but worked well and kept the bottoms comfortable! - When they arrived, I was concerned that they would be a bit small for our rear ends, which are not that sizeable. However, they were very useful, slipped into the rucksack easily, and were adequate for the bottoms! Lightweight and easily fits in a rucksack for day hiking/hill walks. Big difference sitting on this than a cold stone/ground, keeps you dry and warm. Not waterproof so remember which side you put on the wet ground if packing up and using again later the same day.
