Decent value drive for low energy bulk storage
Bought for lower power/heat media bulk storage and it works great for that. Performance is pretty good, tested at 83% full for a fair real world test, good enough for all but the most high end games. Frankly I mostly use it for my music collection which would be a laugh but the way windows reads meta data is so slow it requires an ssd to not choke. An oddity is that it doesn't show a percentage for drive life in crystaldiskinfo, the controller doesn't report much detail, this is the cut cost part of the drive. Bought on sale when the price was more in line with the competition, hopefully the durability is good but no way to test that. Lexar firmware/software support, there is none as far as I can see, no dashboard software, and no firmware updates have ever been released for this drive, this may or may not be a good or bad thing, but its just a consideration vs the more expensive options. *Update, turns out you can find the health % in hwinfo64, and its set to decrease quickly, which is not to say it will fail as it is just a warranty thing, but still a bit iffy that its set that low, I have 670p's that go down much slower than that and those are QLC. That being said the chinese website pceva doing a durability test saw it go the distance, around 1200TB, but the warranty seems set at 100TB.

Failed in about 1 year as a windows boot drive having an endurance of less half a TB TBW
Started out as a great drive for windows, worked for about 11 months without any issues then began having issues freezing during small file transfers, taking several minutes, even though the file transfers were mostly text files and old photos 100 kb and less with a total transfer size of less than 250 megabytes. Due to the drive becoming unreliable I changed my backup schedule to daily. About 5 weeks later the drive became completely bricked. The cons of this drive are its short life span and sporadic multi-minute non-responsive freezing. The only consolation is that the drive sporadically freezing lead me to perform daily backups (allowing me to later restore my system to a new 480GB drive). I would not recommend this drive due to its short life.

Works in the PS4, and sped it up considerably
I had a PNY 500GB SSD in my PS4, and although it worked fine, we ran out of space super quick and needed an upgrade. I decided to go with this Lexar as it was released last year and is just as fast as a samsung for a fraction of the cost. Well to my surprise, it installed super quick and the menus lag that it ised to have is GONE. Games are installing wayyy quicker too. What took me like two days before to install a few, it looks like I will have my entire collection installed by tonight and I just got the drive before noon. This is AWESOME! Recommend it for anyone with a PS4/Pro looking for more storage. And yes, if you have a 1TB Hard drive installed, it is THAT much better than a platter based drive.

Good SSD
I purchased 4 of the 2TB model of these back in January of 2024 to run in a ZFS pool for my home NAS and so far, only one has failed (it lasted 11 months). The drives are decently fast and I have had no issues with them other than that one drive. That one drive did not outright fail, though. The data is still accessible but the drive disconnects after about a minute of being connected. No idea why.

The read/writing speed is par with Samsung and Crucial. But after a lasting intensive writing period, the temperature of the chips remains 60-70c. Therefore the writing speed does not drop while Crucial does. Highly recommended.

The performance of this Lexar SATA SSD is as expected as seen on the benchmark I did. It was easy to mirror my current 1Tb laptop hard disk to this SSD and not only double my space but significantly boost performance for this storage. Installation was as simple as removing the hold device and inserting this one. How difficult to get to would depend on your machine though. Given the SSD is very light it does save a few grams. Then according to rating it should take less power as well.
