Product Description The big-screen version of the TV and licensing phenomenom of the 90's offers excitement and adventure as the six high school teens turned heroic Power Rangers battle against the unleashed evil morphological being Ivan Ooze. After being accidentally released from a chamber, Ivan Ooze plans, somewhat predictably, to take over the Earth and destroy the Power Rangers, and their mentor Zordon. Is there anything these crayon-coloured teens can't do? The answer seems a resounding "no" until some construction workers unwittingly open a manhole cover and loose Ivan Ooze upon Angel Grove. Although incarcerated in his egglike tomb for 6,000 years, Ooze gets right to work at that world domination thing. First up: strip those eager teens of their uniforms and associated powers and send their leader Zordon to his crystalline deathbed. There's nothing to do but head for a distant planet to meet up with a bikini-clad warrior babe who imparts ancient wisdom and power. Meanwhile, Ooze has been turning parents into zombies who craft giant metallic insects--all the better to take over the world with. This 90-minute film features some cast changes from the television series, as well as better special effects and extended fight scenes, which account for the PG rating. Parents must weigh in for themselves on the famous violent-influence-or-not question. Although, like anything else, what seemed violent in 1995 may seem a bit tame today. Nostalgia rising.
Ivan Ooze has come to take over the world and only five teenage kids with no acting skills and bad one liners can stop him!!! Well, no one buys or watches the Power Rangers movie for the acting, because there really wasn't any. The movie boasts very little in the way of drama, but it is high on action and weird bird people. I bought this out if nostalgia, and despite the acting and silly special effects I didn't stop smiling all the way through. It does have a good plot line and the villain does keep the story going rather well. Whenever the acting gets too bad, something evil pops onto the screen and a fight scene starts! Plus it has a happy (cheesy) ending, so smiles all round. The DVD itself arrived quickly and efficiently, with adequate packaging. Overall I am very happy with my purchase; it was like a trip down memory lane. I can see why I loved it as a child. It would be a good film for kids to watch.

Cheesey and corny as I remember but it's the power rangers. Brought back all the memories of growing up. Loved it.

Go, Go Power Rangers!
My Son (age 22) asked me to purchase this on line because he adored the Power Rangers when he was young. He wanted to remember what it was he loved about the Power Rangers. We have since watched the DVD. We both had a good laugh and enjoyed it thoroughly, even though the characters in the film seem a bit tame to us now, some years later. Ivan Ooze and Rita Repulsa haven't changed a bit! Having ordered the DVD on line, it arrived within just a few days in perfect condition, was well wrapped and my son was thrilled to bits with his 'trip down memory lane'.

Tras el éxito de la serie se puso en marcha este proyecto cinematográfico que llevó a cientos de miles de adolescentes en todo el mundo a las salas de cine. Con un nuevo villano, Ivan Ooze, en compañía de los conocidos Lord Zedd y Rita Repulsa, los superhéroes tendrán que enfrentarse a la pérdida de sus capacidades y al inminente dominio del mundo por las fuerzas del mal. Tener esta película en DVD es, sin duda, un gran tesoro. ¡Recomendada para nostálgicos!

Soy fan de los Power Rangers y cuando la vi decidí comprarla. Desafortunadamente no verifiqué si contaba con subtitulos o idioma en español y pues no! No trae. En fin, ya aprenderé inglés :P
