The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (PS5)

I loved playing this game on Xbox One when it first came out. Now, being able to enjoy everything again on Xbox Series X is incredible! It is pure entertainment and nostalgia all in one. I cannot wait for more Witcher games to arrive on Xbox Series X.

It's probably, the best game I ever played. On PS5, maybe Dead Space is on its division. But nothing more. Basically because it's balance. Perhaps it's not the best game in anything, but is the best game as a whole. And it is for to be grateful, the possibility of adjust the level as you please and not to struggle with any boss that stops you the progression - sometimes indefinitely, because you get weary and break off with the game.

My 18 year old son loves playing this game - well worth the purchase.

At first I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of stuff - potions, oils, weapons, signs, crafting etc - but once I got the hang of it I pretty much got by with setting things on fire and then hitting them. The story is silly at times and very absorbing a lot of the time. I wasn’t into the Witcher fandom before I played but this got me fully hooked. I also really liked that stupid Gwent game, I totally got into it and collected all the stupid cards and played against everyone I could. The game is massive, with quests and monsters coming out of your ears. At several points you have to make hard decisions, and these heavily impact the storyline. There are a lot of complex stories for you to stick your nose into, and a lot of interesting characters involved. This comes with all the DLC including 2 expansions and they have a LOT of extra content. I would pay a lot more for this.

The Witcher 3 is a great game and it's a must buy for the current price. It has some features that are irritating and hopefully if W4 comes out these will be addressed. The stash system is laborious as there are few to be found per map. You need them to store items and as soon as you are overweight, instead of running around, you have to trudge along or ride your horse to a fast map travel post, travel to the nearest travel post next to a stash marker then trudge to the stash itself to store and lose the weight, all a bit drawn out and boring. Another frustration is you can unknowingly fail a mission by getting waylaid by another mission during play. The potion and alchemy system could also be better. You can visit a herbalist but be unsure of the herbs you are currently missing when buying. Small gripes for what is essentially a very good game that is a bargain price.

A brilliant open world game a fantastic story line and I do like when decisions can have consequences

On PS5, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is still a massive game. You play a monster slayer and it’s all about hunting beasts, exploring a huge open world, and making morally grey choices that affect the story. Combat mixes swords, potions and magic, and there’s loads to do beyond fighting like Gwent and side quests. I bought it for £24.99, which felt fair for the amount of content. If you use Amazon Prime you get free delivery and 30-day returns if anything goes wrong. Overall, a solid RPG worth playing.
