No complaints. Toshiba is a could quality product. It’s small, portable and fits in your pocket if need be. It’s made of sturdy material and doesn’t get hot.

It was 3.8 but it's fine, it does get hot if you keep it on for a while, it's fast at getting in, connected very easily, files are in there it is secure and can be used if needed won't be lost. Looks nice, and easy to carry.

I got this to make a local backup of my documents and media files. Works perfectly, and the transfer speed is very good. I know hard drives are notorious for having poor reliability long term, so I’ll revisit this review if there is a failure somewhere in the future. So far it’s working great with no issues.

I was disappointed but I could not believe that two external drives could be DOA on arrival in as many days. So I went about rearranging and pulling out everything connected to the old computer. I plugged in the Toshiba external drive and it worked! So it could have been a power issue; enough power to light the blue light on the drive but not enough to allow it to work. I tried the one that came yesterday and it worked too. I'm just going to tell Amazon to bill me for both drives; I'll keep them both. I've been using Toshiba drives for years; they've been good for me.
