I bought this pack of ECHOGEAR Rack Mount Screws along with my server rack and I'm glad I did. It's definitely worth getting all the compatible parts to ensure a secure installation. These screws feel super sturdy and provide a solid connection between the rack and its components. The included washers also help distribute the weight evenly, making it difficult for anything to come loose.

The screws are amazing. I have been using these to rack mount audio gear (so at this point in time the metal inserts aren't of any use to me). However, being visually impaired I find it difficult to get the right angle when screwing things in, and these really do help with that. The only gripe I have with them is that the heads do tend to start stripping quite easily. I don't mean fully stripping, but there is now a jagged bit on some of the screws, so use the appropriate screwdriver and don't overtighten.

I don’t know what it is about these little guys but they just make me want to screw everywhere! I’ve screwed upstairs, I’ve screwed downstairs, I’ve screwed sideways, I’ve screwed regular ways, I just can’t stop! To be honest it’s a bit of a cheap screw but it does fit when I screw it nice and slow. The included washers are definitely on the cheaper plastic side but anything that gets between my screw and my hole, I’m gonna drill right through it so no problems there. Overall if you want a screw that the whole family can screw with you then you’ve hit the jackpot baby! You’ll be screwing your sons and daughters in no time, and don’t forget about your wife! She can screw me any day!

Works well if hand-tightened with a correctly fitting screwdriver, don't be tempted to use an impact driver as this will strip the soft metal head.

These fit Gator cases. I was struggling to get the OEM part which allow for thicker front panels. As long as the gear going in doesn’t have more than a few mm of plate thickness they are perfect. Thicker panels you may need the OEM part. They are almost identical to look at once installed. They also come with nut inserts so are not restricted to Gator cases either. Another 5mm of length and they would be perfect. Also a lot cheaper compared to OEM.

So Far this seems like a good rack screw. I like the washer and the ribbed head. it looks more professional that your average rack screw. so far I have not cross threaded or stripped any heads.

Worked perfectly for the rack. They also came with the nuts.

Very well finished rack screws Surprisingly good. A lot better than the 10x more expensive SKB rack screws set.
