Byrna BOOST Adapter for SD Launcher, Black, Round, 12g CO2, 30 Shots per Cartridge

works okay for a pratic type use. funny enough larger co2 units hold almost same as the small one this thing comes with. seems the ones they sell for these smaller are loaded up a bit more. If you want to put this on a belt type holder this adaptor is makes that a no go as it will snag every known one out there or not fit. There is a screw in type one for daily carry for these that is much better and cost less. I give it 5 stars because it does everything says it will. but its bulky and kinda a useless item in daily use!

I haven’t shot it yet with the add on,But every thing fits well and it fits in my holster so I don’t foresee any problems and good to be able to have the additional co2 to be able to get at least 3 magazines of 5 shots in each one and I am glad I bought a couple more magazines so I have 4 now so I think that should be sufficient.And I think it doesn’t hurt the appearance I actually think it looks good.

This add-on works very nicely to adapt my Byrna launcher from 8 gram CO2 cartridges (harder to find and expensive) to standard 12 gram cartridges that are also usable on many other pellet and bb air guns. The 12s are relatively inexpensive and give a few more shots than the 8. Very useful accessory and perfect fit for the Byrna SD launcher

What’s there to say? It does what it says.

The 12g co2 extender installed easily in about 5 minutes. The added length did not prevent the SD from fitting into the "Tactical Scorpion Gear Polymer Paddle Level II Holster". it works perfectly with the 12g co2 cartridges. In addition, I found it possible to still use the 8g cartridges by loading the cartridge then placing a Byrna kinetic projectile behind it before screwing on the cap. I have gone through six 8g cartridges practicing with no failures and no damage to the SD or K-Projectile I used as a spacer.

Just a little difficult to put on I have big hands so it's problematic with the 3 small nuts and screws that attach the extension to the byrna but other than that I even purchased the extended magazine because of course you can shoot alot more with regular co2 cartridge

Very easy to install and looks great. Fits the 12 gram CO2 perfectly.

Pricey for what it is. Adds significant length to SD launcher. Also drops the picatinny a little too low. The laser/light combo is too low and makes it horribly difficult to find suitable holsters

Good product - works as expected but - and unnecessary item if Byrna designed this air guns right.
