This book contains tips and tricks by the bucket full. It even contains a few step by steps that help to emphasise his points. As others may have mentioned, the reproduction of some of the paintings aren't great, but this does not distract the reader from the points he is making, and the paintings are still beautiful, even if slightly blurry. In short - Great book with buckets of information for both the beginner and accomplished painter. A must have in my opinion. 5 stars, easily. Even with some of the images being of low quality.
