GREAT! essentially silent at low speed, VERY Quiet at medium, gentle LOW hum at high speed (not apparent a couple feet away). great in a home studio for keeping gear cool. I love the rubber spacing which makes room for airflow from any position of the fan (laying down, standing up, etc.) I added some stress relief to the cord at the fan, since there wasn't any, and it needed some... used a small cable tie and mount. Small velcro straps/ twist-ties would also work used double stick tape to mount the switch - a Small piece, to not block the vent holes at the back of the switch. I wanted the quietest fan possible, and this fit the bill - a 2 pack for a good price for keeping an ATEM / network switches / etc. cool and happy. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

These are quality fans. Very quiet. I am an ET, and have been in IT 35 years. Heat is the #1 killer of electronics next to surges. Keeping your equipment cool and clean will give you max life. I had a switch heat issue and the SFP+ ports ran 120°F- 130°F. I bought a double for a 16 port, and 2 singles. Dropped temps 40°. It is actually cool to the touch. I have SFP+ to RJ45 transceivers on the 10G switch backhaul. Thermal pics before and after included. Happy with this purchase. Fast delivery too (overnight). The fans need a USB charger not included. My power supplies have a USB port on them to use.

Superb Product. I run a iMac Mini Pro, and have a Qwiizlab hub on top of it (designed to sit above or below the iMac), same dimensions. I felt that both the hub and the Mac were getting too hot. So I looked around and found this fan. I have now been running it for a couple of weeks and it is essentially perfect. The rubber feet on the top and bottom allow me to put it on top of my Mac, and then sit the hub on top of it, and cool both of them! I recently ran a test. With the computer running for an hour, here are the temperatures I measured WITHOUT the fan, on the top of the cases (I have a calibrated infrared non-contact thermometer): WiTHOUT Fan: Hub: 93F Mac: 109F With the fan, set on it's lowest speed, also after an hour's operation: Hub: 81F Mac: 89F So the fan cooled my Mac 20 degrees F, which is impressive! On low speed, the fan is incredibly quiet, more like a light hum than anything else. Simple, quiet, efficient, effective. What more could you want? I highly recommend this product.

One was whisper quiet the other has a low sounding hum. Not terrible , not loud, but I have to run it on low to avoid being annoying. I like the usb splitter.

It works like a small fan

I bought these fans because I wanted to help cool power converters for lithium battery chargers. I have one mounted to the underside of a shelf on an electric skateboard charging station that I built. I have nine 1” holes drilled in the shelf for airflow. The fans are well built, inexpensive and a good deal. Now I’m not using them how they’d typically be, so I don’t have a reference for comparison. On a scale of 1-10 (10 blowing a lot of air), I’d say these are probably a 4. If you were to hold the back of your hand more than a foot away, you probably couldn’t feel anything. They are whisper quiet though. I also like that they have protective grates on both sides so nothing can fall into the blades. I wish they blew a little stronger.

I Initially bought these NewHail 120mm fans to cool my T-mobile Internet gateway since it was always very warm on top. I placed the fan at the bottom to blow cool air up, through and out the top and the fan did a great job of that. Gateway was no longer warm on top but very cool. T-mobile internet did not work out (no fault to the fans) so I went back to crap-cast for Internet. I now have these fans sitting under my cable modem and keeps it very cool. I liked it so much that I bought more and have my router and Roku sitting on one keeping them cool as well. Is this necessary and an over kill? Probably but at least the cable modem, router and Roku are cool to the touch now. :) I have them set on medium speed and can't even hear them running when my computer is on. With my computer off and in a completely quite room, I can barely hear them 3-4 feet away from me. They have rubber feet on both sides so can be positioned on either side and no vibration sounds. Everyone's ears and tolerance is different but for me, these work great!

I have been very happy with this fan. At the lowest speed it is nearly silent, and I am very sensitive to sound. I cools my firewall and rpi5 perfectly.

Lüfter ist im Vergleich zu anderen wirklich leise. Wenn es ganz still im Raum ist und er in Mittelstellung ist, hört man ihn schon etwas, ein leises rauschen. Aber wenn man Musik in Zimmerlautstärke hört und ca. ein Meter entfernt sitzt, hört man den Lüfter überhaupt nicht. Auf kleinster Stellung kann man es kaum hören. Da sind viele andere Lüfter deutlich lauter, ich habe hier einige Modelle ausprobiert, bis ich nun endlich den hier gefunden habe. Lüftungsleistung auf kleinster Stufe völlig ausreichend.
