Tastes Like Homemade Pot Roast
Very tasty little roast beef dinners. Taste like homemade in a smaller sized portion. My husband loves these grab on the go beef dinners for his work lunch. Just pop into the microwave cook for 1 minute. Then eat. The beef, potatoes, and carrots are very tender. And only 200 calories. Best value for a hot lunch.

I like the flavor, though the portion size is not ideal.
These aren't bad meals to have on hand for a rainy day, although on more than one occasion I found myself eating two for a single meal and not feeling as if it were quite filling enough. They're pretty small meals, individually, and I wouldn't recommend doubling up often; the sodium content is quite high. Still, a good-tasting, shelf-stable microwave pot roast meal that doesn't require refrigeration isn't to be sniffed at, and the small portion size does make it a good, quick meal for when you want to shut your stomach up before bed without necessarily eating a whole lot, or if you're going low-calorie in general and want to throw some variety into your menu. That sodium content really is something to keep in mind, though; you don't want to eat nothing but these for an extended period of time. Keep these in your pantry as an occasional light indulgence, not a main mealtime staple. I'm also inclined to say that a pack of six of these is a bit pricier than I'm comfortable with for the amount of food you get, even accounting for the shelf-stability of it. That said... they taste darn good. The only negative thing I have to say about the eating experience is that the beef itself falls apart too easily, so if you want some decent texture to your pot roast, it's going to have to be a pot roast from somewhere else.

Great Meal
make sure you have bread or biscuits to soak up the gravy - this a meal in itself - very good.

Taste ok but nothing to brag about.
Good but not as good as the frozen dinner.

JUST ONE MINUTE AND SUPPER IS READY!!
Convenience, taste, serving size is just right. I have several choices on hand for those times when I just don't want to "fix" a meal. These are a filling comfort food and the kitchen stays clean! 14g protein, only 200 calories! These meals are a little high on sodium but during the course of a day I pick that battle with one meal so I have no problem with it. Warm it up in just 1 minute!

This one's good all around
This is the best one so far, decent amount of a thick flavorful gravy with plenty of carrots and potatoes and actual pieces of real meat. A bit of fresh ground pepper is always good, and I like that this isn't salty either. Pair it up with your favorite bread, maybe a salad and you should feel like you had enough to eat. A word of warning regarding the containers for these meals - use a better microwavable container that has a vented lid because even if I cooked it in 30 sec intervals I think the concave bottom just builds up pressure until the whole dish basically explodes and it will do it more than once even after the microwave has stopped heating. No matter how well you vent it this will happen, potatoes have a role to play? I don't know just not willing to have to clean off enough of this meal from the roof and sides of the oven before I can eat it. Not willing to give up on the meal either, I like this one, used a paper bowl this time with a single half paper towel over it but will use another dish next time and will update. Another reviewer had the same thing happen to them and adjusting the power just uses same level of heat just cycles it on/off more or less times depending on choice. I think dish is to blame.

The pot roast is a great size for a lunch but you would need to add some sides to make it a dinner. Tasted okay. With a sodium level of 43% of the daily allowance you probably shouldn’t add salt. I wish they said what the bio-engineered ingredient was. Good value for shelf life, quick and easy.

Sorry to say that I am very disappointed in these microwaveable bowls. Little to none pieces of meat but lits of gravy which makes up for 90% of the ingredients. Will never purchase again. They are sitting in my pantry. What a waste of good money which I work hard for.
