The crumpled foil look
Amazon had this medium size tray on sale at a really low price so I had to buy one. Designed by Panton in 1988 and the Jensen folk refer to it as their crash tray. Probably not to everyone's taste especially if you are used to the smooth, curved lines of so much of the companies home wares but I love the idea of a piece of foil crumpled up and then partially flattened out and made all the more attractive because of the mirror steel appearance Like all Jenson products, either jewellery or home wares, it will still look attractive in the years to come. The tray looks good enough just to leave as it is though at the moment I've added some different sized coloured marbles in the three slight recesses. This medium size tray could look good hung on a wall, too.
