This mirror was easily installed, has been durable through an Iowa winter, is a nice size (not too small) and has almost the perfect convex curvature to cover the blind spot and yet not make the approaching cars look so far away as to be hardly noticeable. I had two other types before this, and they were OK, but this product is substantially better.

"I just ordered another one for my other car. I have lots of trepidation when changing lanes. When moving into the lane to the left of me, I always feel not quite 100% sure it is safe to do so - and that is stressful. The best thing about this product is that I can see quite clearly when I can move over with 100% safety. For example, if I am in the right lane of a three lane highway, I want not only to see the middle lane, but I want to see the far left lane as well. I don't want to take a chance that the car in the far left lane may move over into the middle lane, where I want to move to. Also, without this product, there is a brief period where a car overtaking me in the lane to my left disappears into a blind spot. Now there is no blind spot.The installation instructions are incorrect for both the online and packaged versions. I see this product is the NEW 2005 version. Apparently, since the change, you can not stick a screwdriver down the holes to access screws ""A"" and ""B"". The holes and screws don't line up. You need to start by completely disassembling the entire product to get to screws A and B. And then, you can't adjust them with either a screwdriver or a ratchet - there is no room. You will need to use a small wrench. This is no big deal as long as you know this, but having to figure this out yourself can be frustrating. The instructions definitely should contain a word of caution. During and after installation, make sure there is clearance between this add on mirror and your car's mirror. You do not want to install this so that it blocks the motion of your car's electric mirror - you will damage it and wind up with a big repair bill."

Every single piece of metal on this rusted after the first rain, including all the screws. I had to paint the flat metal piece because it looked so bad. Buy something else.

My husband purchased another brand which showed cars father away then they actually were. He loves these Mirrors as they show a much realistic view of the traffice around him.

Not steady , the constant rocking back and forth when driving caused them to break off within three months . It was a waste of money.

It wasn’t what I was looking for. Wanted a larger viewing area.
