Love this line of books, a good balance of facts, and stories to peak interest in the child & make connections with previous knowledge.

Excellent book for young space lovers. It covers all the basics, has great illustrations, and even a few good jokes! I love ❤️ this book!!!!!!!!

I got this for a first grade girl who told me she liked to draw stars. Since her parents don’t speak English, her 13 year older brother agreed to read it to her. It is great (as National Geographic always is) and age appropriate. Perhaps she will grow up to be an astronaut.

About 5 months ago I bought this book for my 5 year old son. He is an astronomy enthusiast and he has a lot of books about space. But most of them are big and thick kind. This book is only 32 pages, and he also likes the size of the book. This book is one of the books he often takes when he goes out in the car. The content is simple and interesting, and every page is beautifully illustrated.

I have been giving these books out to kids at my frequent Sidewalk Astronomy events for a few years. Recently, I applied for and was given a $600 grant from the Asterion Foundation to purchase them for distribution. Hopefully, they inspire the kids to continue learning about the night sky.
