A little bit dull and little original or interesting
Widely anticipated and praised by many, personally I found it all a bit dull. My summary would be mediocre. It's not that there's no merit in the book, it is well structured and covers a wide range of marketing ideas. But even though the title would lead you to think this was something new, I found it much the same as everyone else is saying. I also was not quite sure who is this aimed at, but suspect primarily the student market reinforced by having questions at the end of each chapter. If you want a short book that pulls lots of themes together this might suit. If you are looking for novel insights and innovative thinking, this isn't it. Kotler is a big name in marketing. This is not a big book.

Além dos limites do assunto, este livro é uma síntese do funcionamento da sociedade moderna. Qual o impacto das redes sociais nas relações de consumo? Como as pessoas estão se relacionando? O que é importante saber para quem quer sobreviver no mercado digital? O livro é agradável de ler e instigante. Aprende-se muitíssimo para aquelas discussões na empresa na hora do café. E enfim, se você é da área ou está simplesmente estudando Marketing, acho a leitura simplesmente indispensável. No fim, aqui temos Philip Kotler. Um dos pais do marketing mais afiado do que nunca. O que dizer mais? Compra.

Very insightful very engrossing well Supported by real life examples , while the edition is old the ideas and strategies discussed are contemporary and relevant even in the current changed landscape and transition from traditional marketing to Digital marketing
