I would say so le s Paul breadstick holes are 10no so tuners are 9.8mmm so fit snuggly and hold their tuning well . Hope this helps

what size will I need for replacing tuners on 2008 Gibson sg faded ?

Check this out but as I remember Gibson use a standard10mm peg hole, there measurements are imperial though, my tuners went straight in nice snug fit. Adam.

Would these fit an Epiphone Les Paul 60's model without any modification

Hey there, in short: no. Though its hard to say without taking measurements, from my own experience (epi SG standard) 'vintage' style hardware (presumably your 60s style model would apply) has smaller measurements, in my case the back-side holes of the headstock had an 8mm diameter, these grover tuners use the modern standard of 10mm which meant i had to manually widen the holes to get them to fit, you might be able to identify vintage tuner spec by them having a push-in ferrel on the topside as opposed to the screw on hex nut that these tuners have. Hope that helps.
