Worked for my application
Worked great. I needed to use the male end and had to cut the female end. It's what I wanted.

Odd use case, but happy with the result.
I wanted to modify the stereo system in a 1994 Saab, and this extension works perfectly with the factory stereo-to-amplifier cable. It's a relatively thin gauge for this use, but with the short length I think it'll be okay. It seems well made, and is certainly better than me trying to solder onto a tiny connector.
