Ebow EBow Plus - Modern Vibrato/Sustain Guitar Effect Device - Black

This thing is cool! I bought it specifically for playing the song Under The Milky Way by The Church. The live video version shows the guitarist using one and I said "I gotta have that!" My friends were impressed with it, too. Just another tool in the toolbox, but a nice tool it is!

This is a unit that causes a sustained vibration on a guitar string, making for a note sustained for as long as you wish. It easily produces harmonics and has a setting that makes harmonic production easy. Most importantly, the Ebow guides you to getting lost in your music, taking you places you didn't know you'd wanted to go. I haven't tried this newer version on an acoustic guitar yet, but the version from the early 1990s wasn't really up to the task, but this "plus" version is amazing with an electric. Add in your delay and reverb (and chorus if you like) and you will be building soundscapes in no time. The first time I'd played with it, not loudly and at night, my wife got up from bed to tell me how much she'd liked what I was playing, and that was without knowing how to really play with it. It is sometimes like amp feedback but without the volume. Highly recommended!

Useful tool for guitar players. Sounds cool and can produce some neat tones/effects but has a bit of a learning curve to unlock its full potential.

The power button on the back is very loose. The slightest touch turns it on and when using it it randomly turns off making it difficult to use it. Not sure if I got a defective one or if they are all loose like that. I’m not satisfied with the product.

I had it less than a year. It worked fine at first. Then it stopped working. It still showed the blue light, but completely stopped working. I watched YouTube videos on how to fix it, broke it while trying to take it apart. What a GIANT disappointment. I'll never buy this stupid gadget again. What a waste of money.

Works great, takes a bit of practice as you would imagine. Lots of fun mixing with different pedals.

I love using this EBow device, it's an amazing addition to my music gear! I can sustain notes continuously, as well as closely emulate other instrument sounds, such as keyboards, bowed strings, etc. Also, with a slide and a volume pedal, you basically can use the EBow to make a guitar or lapsteel sound pretty spot on like a theremin. Beautifully versatile little gadget!

No hay pierde con esta herramienta

Hay que tenerlo bien sostenido porque puede llegar a caerse! A mi se me cayó pero fue facil re-armarlo. Si recomiendo para abrir ideas con sustain infinito
