Perfect Lighting Fixture for My Tortoise Setup
I bought the Exo Terra Aluminium Dome Fixture (Large) for my tortoise enclosure, and it’s been absolutely perfect. It easily fits the UVB and heat bulbs my tortoise needs, and the reflective interior really helps direct the light and warmth effectively. The ceramic socket feels sturdy and safe, even with higher-wattage bulbs. I’ve been using it with a 100W basking bulb, and it handles the heat with no issues. The fixture stays relatively cool on the outside, which adds a layer of safety. It also has a long power cord and a handy on/off switch, which makes it really convenient for daily use. Build quality is excellent – feels like it will last a long time. Highly recommend for anyone setting up proper lighting for a tortoise. Great value and very reliable.

Great build, provides a high level of concentrated heat with a decent level bulb fitted. Purchased for a bearded dragon and very pleased with purchase.

Keeps blowing bulbs and fuses. Bit Rubbish
Every type of bulb I have used has blown after a few days and blown the fuse on the light. Lamp is rated to 100w and I have only ever used 100w or lower bulbs. Replaced with Arcadia and been fine. Had too long to return now :(

Fits the Exo Terra 160W mercury vapour lamp perfectly.
Stepped up from a 80W to 160W mercury vapour lamp for my tortoise, so needed a bigger shade. Smaller shades can overheat and cause a fire risk and also shorten the bulbs life span. This is an excellent size and has the hanging hook and on/off switch all included. Just what I needed. Review asks about longevity and versatility, well it will last as long as the tortoise needs it and as for versatility it's a heat proof bulb holder, only has one use, so figure it out.

Must have for tortoise lamps
Very mixed use with the Exo Terra Domes. I’ve ordered about 10 over the past two years. The lifespan can be anything from a month to 6 months. I use this for a day and night lamps for my tortoise. Good value for money

Produit de qualité, disciple très bien la chaleur. Utiliser avec une ampoule 75 w pour le chauffage, celle-ci n'est vraiment pas brûlante et d'ici relativement bien la chaleur pour éviter tout risque de surchauffe. Fait pour le socket E27, votre ampoule peut faire 12 cm sans dépasser de la lampe. Parfait pour que ce soit une lampe UV ou une lampe chauffante.
