Mikasa Digital Air Pressure Ball Gauge

I work at a large community center with many different "balls" to inflate and this little gem is a savior, quickly and accurately reading pressure. Expensive to some, maybe, but to me well worth the investment due to its construction, ease of use and accuracy. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this gauge. Extremely sturdy with heavy duty needles (2) encased in their own compartment in the back. Batteries already installed and ready to go when I opened the package. It is shipped and protected nestled in its own foam "case"inside the cardboard container. Gives consistent readings and came with clear instructions - reads in 4 different measurements and the sturdy air release button on top allows you to over-pressurize and then bleed down to the correct inflation pressure for your ball. The "button" batteries are good for 3000 readings, per the instructions, and will require a very small phillips screwdriver to change them. I've only had this for a week and will provide a future update if warranted.

excellent quality of the product , works excellent

As a volleyball official doing my first season of jv/varsity matches in need of a new gauge, I didn't want one that I had to squint at to try to see how much air pressure the ball had. The display is clear and big enough I don't need to have my reading glasses on to see. Once I started remembering to turn it on before inserting the needle into the ball, I haven't had a single problem with it.

I agree with everything the previous reviewers have said. As mentioned previously, it really is easy to hold and it's very compact. The compartment in the back holds two needles that snap securely in place. The resolution is 0.05 psi, and the device runs on a CR2032 lithium 3V battery. I don't see how any of the other digital gauges could perform better. You're definitely getting what you pay for with this model.

Outstanding gauge. Especially like the storage space in the back to keep the needles in saves them getting lost or broken. Very easy to use, the only thing I would change is the time out for the display, seems a little quick to turn itself off but not a big deal at all.

Precise and easy to use! Now I know that I always played with under or over inflated ball! Must tool if you're getting serious in volleyball.
