The product is great for keeping a free hand available by its simple loop to place over the finger. However the clicker isn’t very loud f so if you are walking your dog along side a road or in town the traffic the clicker can’t really be heard. If you are using it when training your dog click & treat to avoid the distraction of oncoming dogs etc then this isn’t the clicker for you.

I use this in the audio world to place a unique, but clear sound on an audiotape to identify a previous audio that needs editing, removing or other post-production technique. It saves a lot of time in having to otherwise skim through searching for 'errors' to correct!

I struggle to juggle the lead and treats so I moved on to an instant clicker system to recognize ‘that’s it’! then I’ll follow with a treat, this works well for me. I still struggled to have a wrist band type in the right place at the right time so this finger band is an excellent idea and it works well HOWEVER the clicker is just too quiet. Neither me or my dog could hardly hear it and it failed to get the ‘didn’t I do well’ response from my little one. Shame!

I got a four-year-old rescue dog in 2016, and six months later me and my partner got a French Bulldog as a puppy. As we both worked shifts and didn't have the time to fully train the puppy, she lapsed into the bad behaviour that the rescue came to us with. With the PetSafe Clik-R, training the dogs is incomparably easier. With a few treats and the distinctive sound of the click, the dogs have quickly associated the sound of the click with reward, and have therefore been taught more in since I bought the clicker than had learned in all the time before. While the packaging is a little frustrating (clamshell packaging is really not the future), the clicker itself is clear, robust and works.

I saw this being used on "my cat from hell" and decided to try it with our 12 weeks old kittens. They picked it up straight away. So easy. Based on operant conditioning. click on the clicker and immediately give pet a treat so that they associate the noise with the reward. kitts now come running back to me. It's so easy to do. I recommend it to anyone trying to train your wayward pet.

I finally got this training clicker after using many other designs and although it is in my opinion the best style for use and comfort the actual "click" it produces is terrible. Its sounds very blunted and the sound of it is by far the worst I have heard. Sorry but you asked for feedback. The worst product I have ever purchased.

I bought this without reading the reviews - what a mistake and I bought two!! The design is great - end of pros! The click is so quiet. My older two dogs were click trained as pups and come running to the sound of a click… didn’t even register with them when I clicked this. The puppy takes more notice when I squeeze a plastic bottle and it makes a sound than this clicker. Might just pop them in the 3 year old child’s music box for her entertainment as they are pointless for the dogs.

Aunque en la imagen del producto aparezca un perro, este aparato puede ser usado para entrenar todo tipo de animales (gatos, caballos, conejos, hurones, pericos, etc.). En mi caso lo compré para entrenar a mi gatita y aunque hasta ahora no hemos progresado mucho, estoy muy satisfecha con el producto. A pesar de ser muy simple, cumple perfectamente con su función y el sonido que emite no es ni muy fuerte ni muy débil (lo cual hace que sea ideal para entrenar gatos ya que estos se asustan con clickers que hacen demasiado ruido). Además, incluye un instructivo muy detallado (en inglés) que es ideal para principiantes (aunque también existen muchísimos videos en YouTube de los cuales se puede aprender). Por menos de 50 pesos, es una compra fenomenal ya que este producto no siempre se encuentra en tiendas (incluso en las especializadas en productos para mascotas). Solo Petco vende un clicker más barato que este pero el diseño y la calidad no tienen nada que ver. PetSafe jamás decepciona y este producto no es la excepción.

There are quite a few reasons why I love this product. The compact design and attached finger band make it easy to hold. It's a clear method of positive behavior reinforcement, and the included training guide is top-notch. The fact that it's useful for all ages and can train various animals is a big bonus. A nice little clicker with a good sound. Overall, a brilliant tool for training pets.

Já estou utilizando a mais de um mês, tem um material de qualidade e funciona muito bem. O som do clicker para treinos em locais fechados é muito bom, como no vídeo em anexo; para treinos em locais abertos o som não é muito alto, mas isso é levando em conta a audição humana, então para os cães, que naturalmente possuem uma audição superior, não deve ser problema.
