My waist is a 35 what size should I get ?

My experience is that they run true to their sizing chart; however, I see your question as you fall in between medium and large. I would recommend the large and remember, Amazon is very good about returns. Also, as you may experience some shrinkage depending on how you do your laundry a larger size maybe a safer choice.

Do these sit below the waist? I'm looking for jocks that do because I don't want the waistband showing when I wear lowrise jeans.

I wear them with levis 527 bootcut and the waist band doesn't show. Hopes this helps.

Yes, small is 26-28 , i tried them but wasn't thrilled with them, i switched to Ikingsky which has a size chart.

Does the waist shrink when washed? Bought same brand and size as the old ones, but these have much bigger waistband. Maybe they'll shrink?

I did not test fit prior to washing, so I don't know for certain. The waistband of the Papi's do not have a super-tight fit like the the old "Bike" brand of jockstraps I used ~ 45 years ago. but I have not had an issue with the Papi brand accomplishing its intended purpose while biking, jogging, or lifting/stretching.
