I purchased four of these smartboards for guests at our company to use to explore our web based apps and sites. These work well for this with the default browser. You can also load Google play and get other Android browsers and apps if needed. Setup was easy and connecting to the Wi-Fi was quick. One of the units did have an issue with the Wi-Fi module not being recognized. Once we were able to connect with JAV customer support they worked quickly to correct the issue. They were friendly and made sure we were happy with their service.

Do not buy!! I was really hoping this smart whiteboard would be a solid addition to my setup, especially given its sleek design and advertised features. While it technically connects to the internet, the functionality stops there in a frustrating way. The device comes with both a Google Play Store and a proprietary app store, but neither one is usable. The Google Play Store fails to authenticate—so you’re stuck in limbo unable to download any mainstream apps. The built-in store, on the other hand, requires you to accept some kind of agreement, but the UI doesn’t actually let you do it. I tried everything—it just loops back. Even more baffling: you can access Google through the browser, but you can’t sign into anything because the browser seems to be spoofing a different device, causing authentication issues across the board. That means no Gmail, no Drive, no YouTube sign-ins—basically no access to your cloud ecosystem. The only thing that worked reliably was their proprietary screen-sharing app for local devices, which is… not exactly what you’d expect from something called a “smart display.” This could be a great product with some software updates and transparency. As it stands, it’s more of a locked-down presentation board than a truly smart, internet-connected device.

Slow processing, can’t handle simple Zoom or Teams calls with audio and video. Whenever sharing a document on screen the entire system crashes. The Android operating system is terrible. System continues to default to a Chinese keyboard even after changing the setting.
