But you want to be responsible and not have it out for curiosity seekers, especially little ones. The solution has always been a gun safe. But in an emergency, opening a safe and retrieving your weapon almost surely would not be practical. Using using this product to conceal a pistol is a great idea. First, it's not unusual to have a Bible by your bed. Secondly, everybody knows what a Bible is so they would not normally go to open it just out of curiosity.It's not 100% foolproof for nothing really would be. I'm not sure I would recommend this for a household that has little hands in residence all the time. But a situation where little children, like grandchildren, are just casual visitors, it's a near perfect compromise solution between accessibility and security.By the way, it won't handle a super large handgun. I have a Walther PPKS and it fits just fine so something along this nature such as a small Glock would be great. But don't get this if you have a big handgun you want to conceal.I gave it five stars because it's innovative and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
