Maths Puzzles Pad (Tear-off Pads): 1

A5, handy size. Very colourful and full of puzzles that are fun and educational. There is space at the back for calculations, answers to each puzzle and a two page help sheet to explain some things that need extra explanation. Highly recommend this. Aimed towards older children.

Perfect for a 10 year old plane on a 4 hour flight. We did a ‘lucky dip’ game to make it more exciting. I picked the sheet by random and he did it. The sheets are good quality paper. Colourful activities. I’d say this is perfect for 8- 13 year olds. Some of them would be to hard for little tiny ones, but then some made me think as an adult. We have lots left for our next holiday!

Lots of varied maths puzzles inside however I would say for 8+. Some puzzles seemed pretty tricky.

I bought this for a children in a family with an age range 5-10 years, to help with less active days during the school holiday. When visiting (delivered to their home address), they could not wait to show me what they had completed together or individually. Though challenging at times, they are having fun with the activities.

This book was really liked by two 10 year old boys on a long train journey to and from London. Would definitely recommend.

I've taken off a star because I think this should have some age guidance. I bought it for my 5yo but it is too advanced. Ok, I could have done some more research, and I appreciate that no two children are at precisely the same level, but still, a nice clear "Recommended for ages 7 and up" or similar would have been good. (Or maybe my child is behind.) However, it's nicely printed and put together, and I really like the format. As with the similar travel games pad, this will be good for small spaces (planes, ferries, etc) as it is far more compact than an A4 activity book. I'm sure my daughter will love it in due course.

Lovely quality and great maths puzzles. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because there is no mention in the description about age range. I bought this for my 5 year old, but the puzzles are clearly intended for much older.

Good book and interesting puzzles for 8-9 years, and it is true that pages are separate.. but I think that's by design as it is not a book but a pad

Es un cuaderno muy colorista y visual, por eso es atractivo para los niños. Hay pequeños sudokus, operaciones sencillas de -+/x también trabaja simetrías y juegos de lógica. Calculo que es para niños de 7 a 10 años, según su nivel.... es un acierto, como todo lo de usborne
