Does this work with htv? and would a water bottle fit in it?

Depends on the size of the water bottle. I have put a 20oz skinny tumbler in it n just turned it over after the first press. Not sure about htv. I would imagine it would because you can set the temp n time on the vevor press

Would this be able to press a 16 ounce mug?

The thing about Mug Press Machine is that it won't hold down a 16-ounce cup.

Does this mug press need a specific type of mug or will any mug work?

The mug needs to be a sublimation blank to use in this. regular mugs will not work.
