The superb FANHOA garden hose spray gun, must have this essential accessory to allow it to be connected to the garden hose, using a second essential item namely a brass Cast Pipe Fittings coupling 3/4 x 3/4 G Female. The two necessary accessories complement the FANHAO and together deliver a sturdy, delightful spray gun.

I have purchased this to use on my garden house which I connect to a pressure washer. It works great and holds very well even with high pressure. I would say it is a bit pricey considering it is just a hose connector. But either way I am happy with this product.

Very sturdy and no problems with pressure compared to a plastic Hozeloc that I had which didn’t last long and couldn’t handle the pressure. Only thing to note is that you need to hold the connector when connecting to an appliance for it to connect. Otherwise easy to use and I m happy with it.

Thanks to reading Jaxton’s review of 2018, I got this connector to accept a Gardena lance spray and a Hoselock Spray Gun. After years of plastic connectors allowing these spray attachments to blow off the end of the hose after a few uses, continually being soaked and having to unscrew the plastic connector to reattach it, this brass connector, seems to be working! At first I could not get the plastic end of the spray to fit into the aperture but when I pulled back the sleeve it slid in like magic. Thanks to the previous review in 2018, as like most people unused to the many different types of connectors, I probably would not have worked that out for myself.

These are solid and I have no doubt they will last a good while in comparison to the plastic ones which fail after a few years in the sun with a lot of use. Be aware though these do not appear to work if you connect them to a brass tap fitting, then expect to pass water through them to the end of the hose or at the very least my dual brass tap fitting didn't work. Water would not pass the aqua lock mechanism in the connector in the direction of the end of the hose. It works fine when attaching to the various water nozzles so my assumption is the aqua stop valve is not the same design as the Hozelock variants. Hence I could only give three stars for overall rating

I have a few of theses and have used 2 pairs of pliers to tighten them up. Because these are brass you can ensure it attaches very tight to the hose and won't come off easily, if ever. I have the same one on 3 different hoses so they seem versatile enough. To attach a hose gun etc. you need to pull the sleeve back and, while holding the sleve back, push the attachment into place and then release. The hoselock plastic type have an automatic push-click in feature. So for someone with arthritic hands this may be a struggle. These are built to last, and worth greasing the sleeve bearings every to keep them working well.

Connected it to my tap, via a standard 3/4 inch male ( brand new) connector - nothing , no water. Ominous rattle inside and the valve/ plunger was loose and not opening . Poor quality. Refund.

Great quality brass fitting, easy to install. Comes with a one way valve. It's supposed to, so you can remove a hose gun and not p water out of the hose line. I'm not sure why you would want to install this onto a tap. Just buy a regular 1/2 inch fitting for that job.
