Whey is to milk as celery is to broth. When making broth, a singular ingredient, you boil a bunch of other ingredients together. Celery doesn’t contain broth, but broth contains celery. If you are sensitive to dairy you’re probably not sensitive to milk as a whole. You’re likely sensitive to a component of dairy: casein, lactose, whey, etc... Just like someone allergic to celery isn’t allergic to the broth itself and could comfortably eat chicken, in spite of it also being an ingredient in broth. There can be residual casein or lactose in your whey powder if it wasn’t processed well, but whey itself doesn’t have every component of dairy in it. **Q: The claim is three grams of sugar but the next sentence is six grams of sugar. Which is it?** A: Description IS kind of strange. Typo maybe...? I little high in the caloric value to amount of protein, however, I will take taste over a dense bar any day! They are my favorite and will be ordering more ASAP! I eat around 90 grams of protein a day and a bar every other day almost. SO, order them, or don't so then there are more for me. :) **Q: When i see 'sugar alcohol' on a label that usually means arftifical sweetner or significat aftertaste. do these have an artificial sugar aftertaste ?** A: Almost all protein bars and protein shakes have artificial sweeteners. The ones listed in the ingredients for this one are Sorbitol, Maltitol, and Sucralose, at 8 grams total, which is a lot for a bar that weighs only 46 grams. Sugar alcohols are not digestible, so this can result in gas and digestive issues depending on the amount consumed.
