I did a ton of research because I heard some batteries or cables were causing overheating issues due to improper power loads for the device. I have experienced no concerning heat levels even in the Texas summer. Charges my Quest 3 fast enough so that regardless of what I'm doing it never loses onboard battery. If you're planning to do some extremely unhealthy event where you keep your headset on for 8+ hours, buy a third party link cable that will also keep it charged. Otherwise, I enjoy VR for sometimes up to 5 hours when I'm in an obsessive episode and the battery has no issues keeping me going, and I often go 2-3 days without charging either my headset or the battery just because it supplies it with that much power. Also, by putting it on the back of the headset, it's drastically improved long term comfort by balancing the weight. Highly recommend.

Great product. I got 363 hours of play before the velcro broke off and is not fixable. I'm not sure what to do from here aside from supergluing it on. It still works!! Average playtime was 4.5 hours with it fully charged. It was plenty of time for a 20 minute workout game, 20 minute FPS, and plenty of hours to get immersed into a virtual world. I highly recommend 10/10. Just be careful of the velcro. From what I see online, it's not fixable so I might tape an old card and superglue it back on for the time being. Still. 363 hours before breaking is pretty good. Yes I expected it to last forever, but nothing truly does. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. It works as advertised. I'd recommend it to anyone. Just keep in mind the velcro is cheap and WILL break at some point. But after heavy usage.

Great battery pack charges my headset while playing on it. My headset dies fast or slowly while on charge but with this battery pack it charges it and it last a bit too.

It worked so great. Attached it with the Velcro strap. Feels nice. Lasts so long compared to headset battery.

I sometimes sit in my virtual world for a couple of hours until the battery is drained. This battery apparently keeps the internal battery of the Quest charged, and you only have to charge the external one. I have gone 3 hours plus (I know, get a life) using this battery, while it gets discharged, the internal battery stays at fill power. I have not used the Quest until both batteries are dead, but It would last an additional two hours at least if it were just on internal power.

Yo, gamers! I was trying to find an accessory which wont restrict me to charge only my Meta Quest 2 and would provide with an excellent weight management. This KIWI battery pack fits my needs perfectly. Weight counterbalance feature makes wearing the Quest 2 for extended periods much more comfortable. The compact design of the battery pack makes it easy to carry around, fits in my pocket! The battery pack does not interfere with any of the Quest 2's buttons or ports. The build quality of the battery pack is excellent, making it a reliable and durable accessory. It can charge my other devices on the go! I already own Kiwi's Audio headstrap, with its topnotch build quality, I could totally trust this battery pack to last long. Overall, the KIWI design Battery Pack is an excellent investment for anyone who loves using the Quest 2 for gaming or other activities. I highly recommend it.

First things first, it does work for the Quest 3. However, it is not fast enough to keep up with the power requirements of the Quest 3. I haven't completely drained it yet, so I can't give an exact amount of time, but I used it twice now for about 3 hours and 15 minutes and it kept the battery in the Quest 3 at 100% for about an hour before it started dropping. When I turned off the Quest 3 the internal battery was at about 85% and this one was between 2/3 and 1/2 drained. Given that, I'm guessing that the combination of the 2 should get you about 6 to 8 hours if that draining continues at the same pace. To be on the safe side, I'd say 6 hours total, which is lower than estimated, but still not bad. Also, your mileage may vary depending on what you're using the Quest 3 for. I'll probably upgrade at some point when there are newer options out there that are specifically designed for the Quest 3, but this will hold me over until then.

Questa batteria allunga la durata dell'uso praticamente all'infinito. Carica il visore abbastanza in fretta ed è leggero da usare. Quando al visore inizia a essere al 20/30% potete attaccare questo Power bank fino alla carica completa del visore, per poi mettere il powerbank è di nuovo in carica e continuare all'infinito. Comunque il powerbank dovrebbe caricare il visore due volte fino al 100%. (Ho il Meta Quest 3).
