This is a good, strong seat cover made of very thick, hardwearing plastic. It feels similar to the sort of material that heavy-duty backpacks are made of and feels like it'll last longer than the dog that uses it (is that perhaps a bid morbid for an Amazon review?). Crucially, the plastic is also quite grippy, meaning it holds onto the leather seat very well and the dog doesn't have any trouble sitting up on it either. The elasticised bottom fits round the bottom of the seat well, holding it tightly and the seat back fits well too, with a gap along the sides for side airbags. On the negative side, it can take a bit of effort to fit it properly, although this becomes easier over time as the plastic softens. Rather cleverly, the headrest part of the cover has an extra flap meaning that you can just slot it over the headrest if you just want a quick and easy covering, although this means the sides and back are no longer covered. In case anyone is wondering about sizing, it's fitted to a current generation Mazda MX-5, and it fits well. Bought it alongside a "Clix Car Safe Dog Harness" which helps keep the dog safe & secure in the car.

Have to give this cover five stars 1) it fits a big seat, 2) it is very well made, 3) very waterproof, water just sits on the top so keep a cloth handy or you'll be sat in a puddle, 4) hasn't given me a static shock like most covers do. Only bought the one to try as driver seat has a large arm rest. It was a struggle to fit and I have had to cut the elastic to prize the seat arm through. Sizes aprox Seam at top of headrest - down the back - across the seat to front seam 55 inches. Seam to seam across the width of the back of the seat 26". Seam to seam across the width of the seat 30". the apron which is elasticated has a depth of 8". I'm old school so measurement is in inches but hope it helps others. My car is a Mitsubishi Space Star 1.9 not well known as they don't make them anymore. Will be buying another for the passenger seat - thankfully no arm rest. This is the first cover at a reasonable price that will actually fit my car seat

I have had many different dog hammocks for my car. Some better quality than others and different prices. This cover was reduced to around £18 when I bought it and it was well worth the money. Car hammocks in general are wonderful - keeping your seats clean and dry even with wet muddy dogs. This model allows you to thread your seat belts through to attach your harness (some don't). The zip down the centre is a good idea though I've owned other makes that have torn to pieces from the weight of the dogs. This make is much better quality though with stronger stitching and straps. The main material again is good quality, thick and durable. Also a good size easily covering the whole seat. Its easy to put in and take out and can be quickly hosed down if necessary. I've been using this for a few weeks now and my two dogs weigh 75kg between them yet the cover shows no sign of wear. Very pleased. Worth the money. Highly recommended!

Looking for replacement covers for my "Dog walking" car/van I came across these. Having read the reviews I decided to purchase 2 for the front seats. I received them quickly and on putting them on discovered what good quality they are. They are made of good quality fabric, well made and an easy fit. The squab part of the cover is nice and thick giving extra protection for when the dog is wet or the driver's seat when I get soaked. The back is long enough to cover the full length of the seat. As stated by someone else you can also use the flap on the headrest part to just slip the cover on and off for occasional use. The seat part is also generously sized allowing the whole of the seat to be covered with good elastication and no fiddly clips or velcro. I would definitely give these covers 10/10 for Quality, Price, Fit Purchased and used in a Renault Kangoo and a Peugeot Partner

Having studied so many different types of product I came down on the side of this one because it seemed to fit the bill with regard to toughness, ease of cleaning and, I thought, overall size. We use it in a 2010 Honda CRV and it fits just fine, plenty wide enough to slightly wrap around the rear seat each side and high enough to reach the top of the rear seat whilst the hammock part covers the base of the seat and to the top of the front seats. The hammock effect is roughly level with the rear seat base above the floor like this so the dogs cannot fall into a trough. The material quality is better than expected, rather like a tough fabric faced nylon and smooth underside, plenty tough enough for our dogs. The retaining straps adjust to fit really well and make it so easy to take the thing in or out. We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the back with harnesses and strapped from their harness on seat belt adjustable length straps also bought from Amazon. The strap "slots" which are closed by Velcro are a little on the high side when the hammock is adjusted as described above but that is a really picky and minor point. We feel they are safely held in place whilst allowing them some movement in safety for them and for us in the front too. On balance it keeps the hairs and dirt on the cover, not all over the rear of the car and our dogs are quite happy on it. Buy this product, it fits the bill a treat!

After trying a few seat covers I have found these to be the best with regards to appearance, quality and being up to the job, They fit well, feel far superior in terms of the fabric and the seat protection they offer and stay put. I like them so much that I am buying more to cover the rear seats of my peugeot 5008 as they fit them really well. My dogs a labrador and Yorkshire terrier don't slip around on them like the others did they seem to get a good grip.So glad I found them and I think are good value for money compared to the others I have tried

I have a small car (Suzuki Swift) and needed a safe method to pick up my daughter's medium size dog on the days we look after him. It is easy and quick to put in place. I also put a rug on top as this stops the noise when he is moving about on the waterproof fabric. He happily stays in the back, he cannot fall into the space between the back and front seats, and he does not try to get over to the front as the side of the hammock fills most of the gap. (When it was tried in a larger car the hammock was not successful as it was possible for the dog to get under it at the sides, so I would check the measurements before you buy.) When not in use it I shake it out, fold and keep in the boot, where it takes little space. Very happy, good design, easy to use, clean and store.

This is a good quality cover that fits well on the passenger seat (mine is a Fiesta). It is fitted around the base and completely covers the seat back. Gaps at side allow for access to seat controls (tilt etc) No slipping or sliding. easy to clean. I think I will get another one to keep in the boot as it has option to fit quickly by hooking over headrest. Handy for the driver seat when I get muddy paw prints on my trousers from the dog jumping up. Too early to say about durability but it looks well made and as strong as my previous cover that finally wore out.
