492601 FS-OF 1400 Guide Rail Adapter

I've found this remarkably useful. Imagine if you will that it gives you the functionality of mounting your router in a table, meaning that you can profile edges without getting wobble at either end of the work that you can get with just a side fence. Great purchase.

it's festool... it works like a dream.. an essential addition to the 1400 router.. really easy to precision adjust. just watch if you're applying too much pressure that the support leg on the other side doesn't slide up and muck up your depth

Quality piece of kit which works well.

Makes routing straight grooves so easy, not good for rebates on edges but that's for bearing guided bits and edge guides ,a great thing to have very helpful

I think it's compatible with other devices is Festool but do not correspond.

There is too much wobble when using the single track ridge and therefore not accurate. Better performance when mounted on both track ridges but then you cannot use the fine adjustment.

Easy to use with guide rails, just routed out Chamfers to look like T£G

Worked great. I actually bought this to use with the OF1010. While the holes didn’t line up, a little bit of ingenuity along with the track worked out just fine and the results were as expected if I had used it with the OF1400.
