After using this antiperspirant for a while I can confidently say that I can’t go back to any other deodorants. When I applied it for the first time after shower on my dry skin it was a bit itchy and somewhat irritating but I trusted the process and that sensation went away. Now I don’t have any problems whatsoever, I don’t sweat even during my intense workouts, I mean no smell, no wetness, nothing. It works wonders and works for about 5 days for me without reapplying. I’m on my third spray now and this one little bottle lasts me for a half of year. Also, before using this much aluminum I was a bit concerned, but I haven’t found any scientific evidence of health disruptions caused by antiperspirants containing aluminum…

This is a great product it has completely stopped my sweat. I sweat a fair amount. If I wear shirts, within an hour I normally have wet patches. I don't normally smell or anything over than deodorant but I have recently started a new job which requires some physical activity and I have to wear a shirt as part of my uniform. After a 12 hour shift I noticed there was a slight sweaty humid smell but nothing major or stinky. I decided I would try this product to stop my sweat. I didn't have high hopes but after following the instructions and applying before bed, my sweat has stopped. I've used the product for two days now and so far not any sweat has been onto my shirt, as for the smell. It does sort of stop smell but I still have a slight smell. Not B.O but it's a smell nothing bad or strong but if you were to take the shirt off and sniff you would tell. When using I decided to spray 4 squirtd on each armpit ( instructions say 2 ) 4 seems to work well for me as I did try 2 but it was a little humid but still no sweat but after using 4 it's completely dry. I found it does wash off a bit in the shour so it's best to lightly was the area with water otherwise you could just re apply after your shower which I have done and I used a hair dryer to speed up the product drying time. The product itself smells strongly of alcohol and it does have a slight oily texture sort of similar to baby oil but less oily. I haven't had any reactions or any pain using this. It's a good product and it works. It's worth the money but as I'm using 4 sprays every 2 days I'm not too sure how long it will last so only time can tell if its worth it in the long run.

I bought this on Prime day, as it was cheaper and I thought it worth a try. It comes in a reasonably small box with a plastic spray bottle inside. It is unlike 'normal' anti-perspirant which you put on before clothes, instead you are instructed to put this on at night after showering. Spray 2-3 times and allow to dry. I have found that drying takes quite a while, so I can see why it would be best to do it at night. And for the results: amazing! No sweat under my armpits at all, despite the rest of my body being lovely and sweaty due to heat, MS and the menopause. No smell either. If you want a perfumed smell, the instructions say to apply a deodorant/perfume, as it will not affect it. I have also tried the spray on my feet and it works just as well. I have tried other similar products previously, and had an allergic reaction, but I have been fine so far with this one. Although it is expensive, it is worth every penny to be dry and clean. And the bottle should last quite a while, as you only need to use it every other day. Absolutely brilliant! I can't recommend this highly enough. Update: after just over a month, it has started stinging my arm pits badly, so I have had to discontinue use for a while there. Hopefully I will be able to try again in a few weeks, but it means that it now loses a star. However, it is still working brilliantly on my feet, with no adverse reaction.

I love it. A single application lasts 2-3 days for me. The Summer in the UK has been particularly intolerable for someone who has hyperhidrosis secondary to medication. I tried undershirts with padded armpits, wearing white only, and several other non-aluminium chloride antiperspirants. It would never stop me from feeling sweaty, which only serves to make you anxious and thus sweat more! I was very sceptical about the promises made by this brand, but truly it has made a huge difference to my day-to-day comfort. I have tried one other aluminium chloride-based brand (roll-on), which caused a nasty skin reaction. This brand only caused me minor discomfort on the first few uses, but now I can use it without issue. Tips: 1) Experiment to frugality - I initially went through about one bottle in under a week (30mL) basically spraying myself head to toe. I then tried cutting down which parts of me I applied this to, and have now settled on the armpits +/- back. As my shirts were no longer showing any signs of sweat, I was no longer getting secondary anxiety and further sweat. Find which areas work for you through experiment, and cut down use correspondingly. 2) Night application is best but not mandatory - several times, I have got home from work and gone straight to bed without applying this. It takes a while to dry, but I found it worked just as long (and as well) if I applied it in the morning and kept my shirt off for 10-20 minutes. The only thing I'd say is the mild skin irritation can be more noticeable in the morning, but if you are occupied by work/ traffic/ reading, it's easy to be distracted from. I don't do work requiring heavy labour, but spend a significant amount of my day walking around. I have not used it during any significant anaerobic/ aerobic exercise, so can't say if it would work for stopping sweat under those conditions. Similarly, I have noticed that feet have become a little more sweaty to compensate, but limiting shoe-wear (/ using shoe deodorant once in a blue moon) and washing my feet daily in the shower have made this a non-issue. I'd rather not use it on my feet as sweating a little is natural, and having absolutely no way to lose heat via perspiration doesn't sit well with me. My reaction to the roll-on from the other brand was most likely down to another chemical unique to their formula; there is no reason why you would have similar experiences with other brands, nor not have a reaction with this brand. Experiment and wash off if it does irritate your skin significantly. I only brought this up to say that this brand would definitely be worth putting on your experiment list. It's a little pricey, but worth it in my book.

I've suffered from hyperhydrosis all my life. I've discovered iontophoresis as a miracle cure for my hands. Perspi-guard is a miracle cure for my underarms. I put it on before bed, after a shower. I still apply normal antiperspirant (Mitcham) in the morning. My arm pits are completely dry for the rest of the week. What sets this apart from other products that I've tried is that Perspi-guard does not sting or irritate. In fact, it's so gentle that my two kids aged 12 and 15, who have unfortunately inherited this debilitating condition, are able to use this too. Both used to have large sweat marks all the way through their school jumpers, now they are completely dry. They also use it on their hands, and it works great. My only gripe is that it's pretty expensive for quite small quantities, but ultimately worth it for the amazing result.

Product works great, stopped excessive sweating from my armpits, but it seems to have stained my t-shirts white at the armpits, used exactly as instructed aswell, down 4 black t-shirts due to staining.

I have been a sufferer of excessive sweating for most of my adult life. All those that know, the usual rigmarole of changing tops, drying armpits with hairdryers, thinking ahead on nights out, folded bits of kitchen roll to absorb the excess. Basically, a living nightmare in every season apart from the coldest winters, maybe! My mum told me about this cream you can get that apparently stops you from sweating. I thought it sounded too good to be true. Time passed and I never got around to trying it but when I had enough of the river running from my armpits the other day I decided to have a look on Amazon and see if there was any products that could maybe, possibly help. At first I saw the other popular product on here that seemed to get good reviews but it was fairly expensive and I didn’t want to spend too much money if something was not going to work (as most things tend not to). After searching a little further I came across this product, Perspi-Guard. As it was less expensive than the competitor and promised results I decided to take a plunge as £12 is quite reasonable for a product that should last a couple of months. Added to that they gave a money back guarantee, which gave me confidence. I followed the instructions on the back of the pack (very simple and straightforward) and went to bed (they instruct to put it on last thing at night) hoping that there may be some good results. Fast forward to 2 full days after the night that I applied and I GENUINELY CANNOT BELIEVE IT, It works exactly as advertised. I keep showing my wife my under arms as I am genuinely stunned that a full 48 hours after application my T-shirts are as dry as a bone. I keep checking my pits (privately of course) for any sign of dampness or sweat and odour, but there is absolutely nothing, bone dry. I am absolutely stunned and delighted that I have found a product that frees me from this embarrassing affliction. As of right now I am at 48 hours after application and still dry, I will be seeing exactly how long the effect lasts for before eventually getting ‘washed off’ in the shower. Talking of in the shower, I was afraid to get too much water onto my armpits in case it decreased the effectiveness of the product, but, I wash my armpits as usual this morning with a little bit of shower gel and the product has carried on working regardless, which I am delighted with as I like to be clean. I will try and see if the product will last one or two more days before re-application, but if it doesn’t need it, it doesn’t need it. Lastly, I am very proud to say it is a British product and a big well done to the manufacturers. They have no idea (or maybe they do?) How much they help people in my situation. Delighted.

*edit* thia didnt work for me :( Okay, i have recently started suffering with a very sweaty face. I dont have to do much ... just get out of bed or walk into the next room and Boom my face is wet wet. Picture a thirty something year old plus size woman on round 6 in the boxing ring sweat dripping off the face.. that kinda sweat! It's like I have been to the gym for a hard work out, or run a marathon. Its insane! No one wants to see that. I use the humour to cover up the fact that it's actually getting me down so much so I have stopped going out because I'm so embarrassed that people see me like this. And I know it's bad because strangers will comment on it to me and its soul destroying. This product was going to save me. I cleaned my face and pat dry. Left it a few mins until it was 100% dry then sprayed this directly on my face. First off the spray is not great. I was expecting a fine mist for even coverage However it was more like a single jet of liquid similar to the spray mecanism on antibacterial surface sprays. Because of this i ended up spraying on to my hands and patting it into my skin until tacky. For reference I have dry skin. I did not apply any moisturiser or serums after this I just let it dry and went to bed. This does kinda itch i little as it drys, not horrific but is noticeable and lasted around an hour and a half for me. Washed my face like usual the next morning and then applied my serum and moisturiser and makeup. Now usually by the time I wall downstairs my face will be glistening with sweat. This particular morning it was not! (Hooray) However they victory was short lived as by the time I got my baby in his pushchair once again my face was dripping with sweat. GUTTED! ( side note I also applied to my underarms and also didn't work and I'm not particularly sweaty underarm. Its defo not my problem area anyway) I'm going to give it a week and try it again but I hold no hope so currently I can't reccomend this product to anyone. If anything changes I'll update this review but currently its a Fail.
