Just the right size for a Land Rover Defender 2024
I have a bike rack with a standard mount that didn't fit my 2024 Defender because of the 5th wheel. This 7" extender is exactly what I needed and now I am able to quickly install and mount my bike rack without worrying of scratches to the vehicle or wheel cover. The only other thing I would recommend is a hitch anti rattler for the bike rack. It has a loose fit and I didn't want my carbon bikes bouncing around when driving.

good buy with 1 complaint.
Bike rack was too close the the spare tire on back door of my Jeep. This was the perfect answer. Easy to hook up out of the box. Only complaint is it can't be tourqed down to stop sway while driving. So the bikes do move a little.....

Solves the problem of recessed trailer hitch quickly, cheaply and securely
Needed this as bike rack would not reach into the recessed trailer hitch receptor on new care. This solved the problem and was Easy to install. It has a good secure fastener so doesn't wiggle around and would be hard for a thief to remove quickly. Its very solid made with same type of steel/color as the care hitch mount.

Ok Quality, Rattles Around a Lot
The welding quality on this extender is laughable. Not sure I would trust it towing something heavy, but hopefully it will work for a bike rack. The extender fits loosely in the hitch and the threaded bolt does nothing to secure it from rattling. You need to buy a hitch tightener to keep is secure.

Half the price of the original manufacturers hitch extension
Just got this hitch extension and it looks and feels like one offered by the manufacturer. Nice powder coated finish and comes with a heavy duty nut, bolt and pin for attaching to the original hitch.
